If you need a larger monitor with high SPL, for mid-field, soffit or behind the screen applications, the LSR6332 is your choice. This three-way non-powered system can handle 200 Watts continuous pink noise/800 Watts peak and will generate 112 dB SPL at 1 meter. The LSR6332 incorporates a 12” Neodymium Differential Drive® NDD™ dual coil woofer, 5” Kevlar™ midrange speaker and 1” titanium composite tweeter. The system is exceptionally flat, +1 dB/ –1.5 dB from 60 Hz to 22 kHz with LF extension to 35 Hz. User features include a –1 dB HF level setting, and dual 5-way binding posts for bi-wire capability. The award-winning JBL LSR6300 Series professional loudspeakers deliver the exceptional accuracy and performance needed in demanding music, post audio and broadcast applications. Each model provides ultra-flat response, extraordinary SPL capability and technology to optimize performance in any size production environment. All models are shielded, ready for mounting and THX® pm3™ approved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longivity. I purchase a pair of JBL LSR6332's (6) months ago and have finally found a speaker to compare to the Century L100's that I purchased 42 years ago.

My receiver is 100 watt per channel in to 8 ohms and 160 in to 4ohms. Is that adequate to power the LSR6332 speakers? The receiver is an outlaw audio RR2150

Yes it is. The recommended amplifier power the the LSR6332 is between 150 W - 1000 W (rating into 4-ohm load). You will need to run the receiver on 4 ohms in order for it to get enough power to operate properly.

Are these mid-field monitors? Pole mount, platform, or soffit mount? What is the optimal distance from speaker to listener and approximate window of acceptable distance for that? Will my high ceilings present a problem?
