UA Sport Wireless Train – Engineered by JBL is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from At long last, gym-friendly headphones It has came to JBL's and Under Armour's understanding that people like me (at times) would prefer to wear full-sized headphones in the gym as opposed to earphones, and both parties *DID* listen to our cries. While these headphones aren't noise-cancelling, not only these headphones are comfortable to wear, but it features Under Armour's signature fabric for a snug fit for very intricate workouts in the gym (such as when you have to do sit-ups, back extensions, sitting pull-to-lift weights, you name it). The headphones are rigid so it has an IPX4 rating for sweat absorbance. I really liked the carrying case because it's a hard case that protects your carryover JBL signature audio from getting damaged by gym equipment by accident. The headphones fold neatly to accommodate them being inside the included carrying case. The controls have a sense of touch which means you're not left in a tech maze when you want to stop a track, volume up, go to hear-through mode, so this gives you some much-needed ergonomics when you need to pay attention to what you're doing. It's OK to wear them while you're outside (just don't immerse it) but I got a success at the treadmill when wearing them as Under Armour's fabric technology on the earpads seems to resist my sweat pretty well as frankly, Under Armour's Signature Fabric will "read" your head to make sure you're having a snug fit the longer you work out. With premium JBL Signature Audio Drivers, the audio was pleasant and clean, making your workouts well-paced. I find this Under Armour/JBL-joint headphones satisfying to wear in and out of the gym. Although it's a bit pricey, the Under Armour signature fabric is worth a try (as in tests I was able to exercise with little to no slip), and the JBL Signature Sound makes things well-paced in and out of the gym. Under Armour and JBL has came a long way to bring a headphone effort in which people can wear in the gym.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performing Sport Headphones I really like working out with these new headphones, they provided excellent quality sound and stay fit on my head while running and cycling. I love that you can wash the foam ear pads as it makes me feel good about using them while I am doing strenuous workouts. These are my new go to headphones for all my active sports I participate in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wowza Terrific sound, highs and lows. Simple and quick Bluetooth connection, and very comfortable. Probably wouldn’t run a marathon with them, but definitely a 5/10K. Love the talk-through feature so I don’t have to lift them off to hear partner. Great on the tractor, too! Love ‘em. JBL has never let me down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than expected! I just recently recieved these and WOW! They are extremely comfortable and have a great sound! My other ser is a pair of JBL EB55’s and they sound just as good as they do minus the noice canceling feature, but its a fair trade for the cooling comfort of these JBL UA’s. I have to admit I am partial to all JBL products anyway but the fact is that they simply put together an amazing product! I guess if I had a real criticism it would be that they havent offered a more colorful set of options. That being said, JBL you have done it again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them They sound amazing they feel amazing I was riding my bicycle with them and it sounds like the microphone on the speaker is always on so you can hear the wind blow which I thought was a little down fall but besides that hands-down amazing headphones. I sweat a lot so I appreciate the fact that I could change that Ear pads.... oh and if you don’t have nails good luck trying to open the charging port cover .. you know what I think will be a great idea if you could change all the padding on the headphones and maybe offer color options. Oh and I also got caught in the rain riding my bicycle and I had the headphones on and so far I have no issues which I think was pretty amazing. It was either these orders solo 3s which I see a lot of people use at the gym but you can’t change the pads on the solo 3s I think that’s nasty that should be an option whether or not you’re using them to work out That definitely tells me that the solo 3s are not meant to be sweat on but don’t let me tell it

what's the difference between these headphones and the UA Sport Wireless Train — Project Rock Edition headphones

Asked by: branta
Only the branding, you will see a bull on the project rock version vs the UA logo

How much does this weigh? It stays on while running?

Asked by: Rusy24
Sorry, I just weighed them, and they weigh 245 gram, not 788! 788 may be the shipping weight, but it would really be a problem on your head.

These are designed after the Project Rock Headphones, same great technology just without the Bull logo!

What is the diameter of the ear coverings of the headphones? Do they cover around the ears fully?

Asked by: Tiny traveller
Hi, and thank you for your interest! The Under Armour Sport Wireless Train is an on-ear model, not over-ear. This means that the ear pads rest on the ear lobes, not around them. The washable pads are soft but firm, and very comfortable to wear. Outer diameter is approx. 6.5 cm, inner diameter of the hole is approx. 3.5 cm.

Why would I want to purchase the Rock edition over the UA version if they're so similar?

Asked by: CerTac
Because you are a Rock fan, and you want the world to know it. Also, the Rock version looks tougher. Please note that the Rock version is USA only.

Please be more specific. What's the difference UA headphones vs Rock Edition. Sound Quality? Appearance? I am about to buy but I want to make sure because there is a contradiction in previous answers from your staff.

Asked by: Rishi
Hi, Thank you for your question. We do not sell the ROCK edition in Europe, only the UA Train model. However, the ROCK Edition has a different design and slightly more bass.

While working out, do they stay secure on the head ? Even during the most intense exercises such as burpees ?

Asked by: LucaPera
Hi, and thank you for your interest in JBL UA TRAIN! The TRAIN is pretty stable on your head, but it is not possible to promise that they will stay no matter what you do while wearing them. They are still on-ear headphones, and their staying power depends on how firmly they press onto your ears, and how well the headband sticks to the crown of your head. This of course means that this is highly individual. The human head varies a lot in diameter, and there are big differences when it comes to hair length or baldness. Also, some users can tolerate almost no pressure on their ears, while others have no problem with big pressure. Wearing glasses or not makes a big difference. There is one thing you can do to with the TRAIN, and that is to vary the pressure it exerts on your ears/head. The headband is made of steel, and you can bend the top to make it sit loose or tight, as you wish it to be. And remember that if you buy from the JBL web shop, you have 30 days' right of return, no questions asked. So you can test them and find out if they are for you.
