Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty Left Ear Audio, Twice. Be wary when buying these series of wireless head phones. I got two pairs. The first pair had a dead left side that didn't play audio, and the second one has an imbalance in audio. The right side audio is clear and crisp, but the left is noticeably softer and a bit more muted. This would be fine if they have an audio balancer app, but their apps don't support the endurance series.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality for the price I paid. After receiving these earbuds in the mail and listening to the sound quality, I returned them immediately. The sound quality is tinny and low quality, and everything about them makes me feel like I bought them from a cheap knock-off store for $5. Do not waste your time buying these earbuds as they are not worth anything remotely close to their price. Sorry JBL

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not usable Bought the Dive and used twice and volume was so low was not usable. Then bought the Jump thinking it was just one time issue. Jump is so low volume did not know they were even on. Headset is basically not usable. So have two headsets volume is so low cant really use them. I am shocked JBL would release these products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Sound Bought these headphones at Target yesterday. The audio quality was absolutely terrible, sounded tinny and just cheap, along the lines of the old wire-band headphones that would come with walkmans and other equivalent devices of that era. Will be returning these tonight, terrrrrrible terrible sound quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Falls out super easily, some guarantee I bought these headphones yesterday and there's a graphic inside the box that says 'never hurt never fall out'. While they don't hurt, they fall out just from me turning my head. The documentation in the Box says guaranteed never to fall out I can barely walk around without these falling out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound while they stay in I do like these earphones. When I put in one ear they sound great. But for me there is a fundamental problem.... the cable between each ear is too short. As soon as I put in the second ear, the first earpiece is pulled loose by the now taught cable running around the back of my neck. So the sound is much worse and eventually, they fall out. I don't understand why no one else gets this problem. I am not a big guy and my neck isn't big. My wife has no problem as she has a lovely, slim, feminine neck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb & glad i bought it! It kept me accompany throughout my half marathon 2 hours plus run. It stayed fit to my ears! music quality not perfect, but good enough to bring out the bass and crisp of the musics i played. Thumbs up, and do your best maintain that quality up eh!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! I've been looking for years for an earbud that will not fall out of my ears while running/working out. I found them. Compared to other models/brands that advertise the same, these were much cheaper. They turn on/off just by putting them on/taking them off your ears. I use these for working out as well as making phone calls at work. Sound quality is good for an earbud. I have found no negatives yet with this product. Buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not loud enough no bass at all! I bought these today thinking coming from JBL the sound would be great not the case at all! My genetic corded headphones blow these away. I'm very disappointed and taking these back tomorrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love with it My new phone doesnt have p2 plug and after some search I came across this model among lots of headphones. At first, its sound quality seems dubious, but when I managed to place them inside my ears, the bass seemed much better. Nobody complained to me so far about mic quality when I speak through it too. I just have some trouble increasing volume using touch controls. Many times I pause the music instead. Its design is so cool and the device is so light, it is fantastic. It is lighter than most sunglasses, and doesnt tire your ear than an average headphone/headset would. It turns on and pairs so fast, that whenever I receive a call, it is a quick choice to answer through it. I hope its materials last at least two years... but I never had a good experience with rubberish devices (razer stuff mostly).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound, glitchy connections Using for MTB and Bikepacking and they sit well and sound fantastic. They tend to be a challenge when connecting, especially if any other Iphone or Ipad is in the same room. With 2 phones and 2 ipads I end up turning off and on bluetooth to get it going again. Luckily when I am out on the bike on one phone is around (for mapping). Fit and function are top notch. Sound quality is equal to a choice set of over the ear headphones. Well done JBL Team.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage!!! They fit great, feel great, and look great. Sound quality I would say is O.K. when they work. They just won't hold the bluetooth signal for very long unless I hold my phone about 6 inches away from them which really sucks if your if your trying to jump rope!! I have some other bluetooth products to know for your it's not my phone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Having some problems Hi, I bought the JBL endurance jump in April. I previously had an E40BT. I'd broken that, but I'd been happy ith the JBL product line so I bought the endurance jump. It fits nicely, the battery lasts long, its been very handy to use, and it got good reviews. The problems I am having is that after a fe minutes in a call, or hen listening to music it makes a noise that sounds similar to a fax machine. The only ay to stop the noise is to turn off the jump and turn off the Bluetooth icon on the device. It does this on both of our phones and my laptop. It also doesn't seem to matter ho much battery charge is left. Its done this since I've had it. I'd hoped it'd smooth out, but it hasn't. Any advice you can give? Or is there some type of warranty? I really like the device, the problem just makes it unreliable. If I can get this figured out, this would be an easy 5 star item. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only work for 30 minutes After 30 mins of activity i gradually lose any sound in the right ear as it all shifts to the left. i have no sound after 60 mins, so they are useless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient, but sound is somewhat lacking I bought these for use at the gym, and they do their job well enough - they stay put and don't fall out easily. The bluetooth connection is strong and stable, and it pairs quickly. However the bass response is lacking, even for headphones of this size. Shame really. I will upgrade to something else when possible, but for now these are simply adequate.
Date published: 2019-09-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from They are “ok” The twist lock into your ear is not easily accomplished. You need the bud deep in your ear to get ample bass which seems to be sub par.
Date published: 2018-06-28
Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible i bought these hoping that i could get some good workout earbuds, I was sooo excited to get the earbuds. i got them, tried them out, and after 20 minutes of trying to figure out why they we so bad, i looked at the reviews and realized this was normal. DO NOT BUY, THEY SUCK. The bass sucks, the treble is ok, probably worth around 2 dollars in my opinion.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not live up to expectations Does not live up to expectations I’ve been an avid JBL home and called a no user for years these iPhones function with touchless volume is horrible to power on unit is another struggle. If I had known that these earphones did not have functional buttons for volume control or power I would’ve never bought them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound. Stays in place while running. I've just started using it. Sound is great and it's really good for running. Unlike other running earbuds I've used, the JBL Endurance JUMP stays in place. It's a bit uncomfortable behind the ear (that's why I've given it 4 starts and not 5) but I assume I need to get used to it. Overall, very happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oh my gods Unfortunately, this headset is a big disappointment. There is no bass, the volume of the earpiece is very low and there is no dynamics. The three-dimensional dogo falls out of the ear very easily. And of course it is quite expensive compared to its competitors. I'm sorry I bought it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst Sound Quality I bought it 2 months ago to replace my jaybirds. I bought this with big excitement and its technology but sadly sound quality is worse than 2$ headphone that u buy from the train stations. You wont get any BASS even on highest volume instead it will probably damage ur ears.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor controls I have now given up with these headphones and gone back to my cheap but functional ones. Touch controls simply don't work very well whilst running. Buttons are always best! As for the volume forget it! I will try and get money back but don't hold out much hope

Product Q&A

i use this for work making and receiving calls but it powers off after 5 minutes of no use, i'm driving and cant continue to power back on is there a way to keep it powered on?

Asked by: lugnut47
What you're experiencing is the power-saving mode. A feature of the JBL headphones designed to actively reduce its power consumption when not in use for 5 to 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we don't have an option to turn off this feature.

I got Endurance Jump headphones as a gift. I was looking for something to use while swimming. I read in your q&a that they are not made for underwater. But it said they "switch to bluetooth", so could I still use them if I Bluetooth with my apple watch?

Asked by: Dee Kay
JBL Endurance Jump has an IPX7 rating, meaning it's waterproof and splashproof. And yes, it can't be used for swimming. We have a model that can be used underwater, which is our Endurance Dive. If your Apple Watch has Bluetooth capability, you can pair these headphones to it.

My Jump's keep cutting off for some reason. Seem to charge as the light goes off but then mid-song they just cut off & have to reconnect, they play for a few min. then cut off again. So I put them back on the charger & the cycle repeats (got as gift)

How long does the battery life is expected to last?

Asked by: Living In
Hi. The battery is Lithium-ion Polymer, as you can see in the quick-start guide. Like almost all batteries used anywhere today, their capacity will begin to fall from about 500 charging cycles, and at about 1000 charging cycles, the battery usually has no more capacity left. This is quite standard.

Asked by: Jack1981
Your JBL Endurance Jump and all other JBL headphones have the battery saving mode feature to maintain its battery life span, and it can't be disabled. It's normal that the headphone powers off if there's no music playing, or when it's idle. If your device shuts off after 3 minutes even when in use, please contact us.

What is the maximum distance for the Bluetooth to connect? I bought these as a gift for a swimmer and I’m wondering if they will connect at a distance of 25m for example.

Asked by: Vnicks2
The Bluetooth range varies. Under normal circumstances, you can expect a range of 10 meters with no problems. More than that, the signal will get unstable. Bluetooth can also be heavily influenced by surrounding environment depending on what other signals you have at your place(Wifi router) that could interrupt and wall material between speakers. On another note, The Bluetooth does not mode when swimming hence we suggest giving your friend the JBL Endurance dive instead since it has the Mp3 mode that you can use while swimming.
