Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice earphones BUT... These are nicely engineered and work well. They fit neatly on the ear and are very secure. I use them for cycling and they are very comfortable while worn in conjunction with a helmet and glasses. But there is a really stupid software issue - you cannot disable auto power off - which turns the phones off after 5 minutes. So, if you are cycling along getting directions from a navigation app, and there are no sounds for 5 minutes, the jump powers off and you can't restart it without taking of your glasses and helmet etc. The same is when walking or running. So, nice kit that has been made without thinking things through clearly at the design stage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another sports headphone that will not stay in the When I saw the JBL Endurance JUMP for the first time, I thought that JBL had cracked it. All runners want is a headphone that sounds great, and that you don’t have to fiddle with. This is not the case with the Endurance JUMP. They have a twist fit feature, which is suppose to seal the ear canal and keep the earphone in place. However, once I run for 10 minutes the earphones start to loose the bass response as they start to fall out of the ear canal. By the end of the run my ears were soar, as I had to keep twisting the earphone in place. Very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted these to be it I have tried to use the endurance jump headphones for a week (5 runs). I have the same problem that I have seen on some of the reviews here, they just will not stay in while running. I have tried all the different cups, and even a set of cups I know fit because they were on my old headset for 2 years before they died. I wanted to like these and need a set of running headphones but, without fail, after the first mile they fall out. My ears end up being really tender after repeatedly trying to get them "twisted" in after the first fall out, and if I do get them back in they stay put for maybe 30 seconds. I love the quality and price of JBL products, but these just don't work for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Theyr're Awesome! Like the tittle says they're awesome, my only gripe is, I hate how they off if the right side is not in my or open. Is there anyways to fix this?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fitting is taking a little time ! Still trying hard to figure these out but first time with over the ears headphones! Don’t expect Jaybird Run quality either in build or music but note these are far cheaper. They DO give a sense of immediacy which other earphones lack. Sadly the great range of colours available in the States isn’t available over here I the UK. I love red or orange but had to settle for a very grim black with a meger dash of pale yellow which borders on white. They do seem to stay on. My advice, wait for the US models to arrive & prefereably an updated edition. Do not be prepared for the super sound and build of normal JBL & Harman speakers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these headphones but... I’m experiencing audio latency while I watch videos. I know they are headphones for music however it’s disappointing when I want to watch YouTube or Netflix on my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I bought these headphones to use while working out and and while riding my horses. The first night I rode my horse in them it was very windy out, I was surprised at how great they sounded! They stayed in place well. I even used them to talk on the phone and they worked well for that too. For the price I am very pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad but a little disappointing I got mine in the mail a little over a week ago and was excited to try it out. It fits pretty snug in my ears and isn’t comfortable exactly but it doesn’t hurt either. They don’t fall out while running either which is what I bought them for. on a separate note, the bass and sound level is pretty underwhelming. The bass is pretty bad and I have to turn the volume up pretty high in order to get a good level which is weird considering they are noise cancelling. I expected better from JBL as I have bought their products in the past and they have been more than satisfactory. I’m a little disappointed in the Endurance JUMP.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quality, fatal control. Quality, sound and function turn off, battery, ergonomics. Hilarious JBL. The function of tactile handling, contact with water or sweat or afterwards totally spoils the pleasure of action. I have the impression that JBL has never tested it in practice. When I run in the morning or in a light rain, or with a hat on my head, moisture causes constant switching or stopping of the music. Answering a phone in such conditions quite nightmarish. JBL. Improve it immediately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Material I have been using this for 1 year and 8 months. I am using my stuffs very carefully. Recently notice my headset has a cracked in the rubber cover of the headset due to the poor quality materials used, the headset is working fine but inside wire will pop up very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won’t fall off! These are the only headphones I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot) that do not come off when I exercise. The sound is pretty good even when they are not sure tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features My friend son who is 13 yrs old receive these headphones for Christmas and lost them the same day. He was devastated I surprise him and brought them again. He loves the sound and the waterproof was a plus They stays in his ear with no problems he said He's Happy I'm Happy

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sound quality concern The headphones work great, feel great and are easy to use. My only issue is the poor sound quality. I'm trying to troubleshoot the headphones before I return them. But if I can fix the sound quality these will be the best headphones I've ever had.
Date published: 2018-07-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The sound quality is amazing! Bought these a few days ago for work, I pick books filling orders all day and the wires always got in the way or weren't long enough and the sound wasn't that good, I'm all about the bass and the low frequencies on these are mindblowing
Date published: 2019-03-01
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Acceptable given price (while they lasted) I've owned these head phones for about two weeks, while the sound quality isn't fantastic (7/10) they seemed well built and I had no complaints regarding dislodgement or durability. That was until yesterday when the right earphone began to playback music at a much lower volume then the left earphone. The vender I purchased these from does not accept returns for earphones (understandable). Buyer beware! While the design seems on its face to be durable, JBL seems to have neglected their electrical components in both durability and quality. Very disappointed, I will not be purchasing a JBL product again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery low and drain in minutes I am in UAE, bought 4 days ago and facing a huge issue in battery backup, even not playing music or any calls but battery still fading away, in 3 hours full battery drain and I am like surprised, Harman House people also said JBL is not replacing any of these models then why your dealers are selling? I am planning to file a legal case in this regards due to non-complaince of the warranty policy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Like these so far had 1 1/2 weeks use every day. Dont fall out, easy to use. Looked at a lot of models and brands and picked these for features, price and JBL name. Also because there was no clunky plastic control box on the wire between earbuds like other wireless earbuds
Date published: 2019-04-26
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Music, comfortable! I bought these and I am quite impressed with the comfort while wearing them. Even with glasses on It does not feel uncomfortable. They don't fall out when running. The mic is decent but it's not good to use in a windy environment, or a noisy environment, because of a lot of background noise. Also, I tried to clean the wax inside with a pin but I accidentally pushed the little foam cover in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Not compatible" with a computer The Endurance Jump has everything I need - sweat proof, secure fitting, good sound, easy to use - except for one huge thing. They keep turning themselves off. WHY DID YOU ADD THAT?? When I use my Endurance Jump with my laptop, when doing indoor bike workouts, they turn off automatically after about 5 minutes. This doesn't happen when using them with my phone. When I contacted JBL customer support they told me that the Endurance Jump is "not compatible" with computers. What?? I thought Bluetooth was Bluetooth. Nowhere in any of the published information about the Endurance Jump does it tell me that they're not usable with a computer. Use with my laptop during workouts was one of the main reasons I bought them. Looks like I was sold a lie. Why did JBL include that auto-off "feature"? Without that, the Endurance Jump would have been one of my favourite ever earbuds. With it, they're expensive junk for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't fit my ears properly I bought these for running outside. My head is on the small side, and I guess my ears are too. The clips didn't fit over my ears properly, and they kept falling out. For the few minutes when they did stay in my ears, I didn't like the noise cancellation. When I'm running I want to be able to listen to cars and people, and not hear just my breathing and footfalls. The sound quality was pretty good. And I really like the auto on/off feature. The touch controls worked well. I tried them just sitting at my desk, and that was fine. But these don't work for me as running headphones.
Date published: 2020-07-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price I bought these a couple days ago and while it was pretty expensive, these earphones do have some cool features. One thing I’d prefer is a power switch or button on the earphones to turn them on/off instead of the automatic power hook; they’ll sometimes snap apart and turn off when I don’t want them to. Other than that, they’re very comfortable, are very technologically advanced, and an overall good pair of earphones

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent earbuds This the second pair I buy, the previous one was for me, this one for my wife. We bought them for work outside, they have a good sound and really easy to use. They are humidity resistant so easy to maintain. As soon as the oldest one will break, I will one buy again .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waste of Money I used these for about 4-5 runs and the right ear doesn't work anymore. They are awkward to put in the ear and volume is nearly impossible to control. They also randomly turn on when taking them out of my bag so you have to watch out for that. Not worth it to me. I just bought another pair of Bose because I would rather spend double the money on something that is good quality and doesn't have unnecessary issues like these headphones.
Date published: 2020-01-04
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not That Great for JBL Just disappointed overall! The previous pair I had were Awesome! Fit great were loud, had bass... great product! For whatever reason one day they stopped working and after troubleshooting with a representative they replaced them with this model. They don’t fit all that well, the sound isn’t nearly as good no bass at all and don’t hold a charge close to 8 hours! If they weren’t a replacement I’d have taken them back pretty swiftly!
Date published: 2020-03-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Alright They have an alright sound quality and are fairly responsive to touch. They do leave my ears hurting after I take them out, but it's probably part of the design?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average experience I was basically looking for IPx7 waterproof headphones and since I have good history with JBL, (got a few models of them and so far so good) I was quite happy when I found the JBL Endurance JUMP. What can I say? I'm a little disappointed. The item is solid, touch buttons work just fine, and it's very nice to turn on automatically every time I just put it on. However, the sound quality is not at all what I got used to. The bass is quite thin and overall the sound experience is less than I expected. In addition it didn't fit right in my ear what made it uncomfortable and even hurts a little when use for a long. Bottom line I'm aware of the price, so it does the job, yet it's not a bargain. You get exactly what you pay for and nothing more. If what you need is true waterproof headphones and you don't want to spend a fortune, it might be for you, just make sure to come with no expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from right track I like them the only problem i see is the button features, i wish there weren't on the actual piece where you see the JBL brand because you try to adjust them and you either pause or skip a song and it isn't very responsive at times maybe it should be on the back hook were the power-lock symbols are. they are definitely in the right track hope to see and improvement in the near future

when i go swimming, as soon as i get into the water the headphones mode changes from the memory card to the bluetooth mode. how can i fix this?

Asked by: Refael
The JBL Endurance "Jump" only works above water, Since signals are hard to get through under water, and the IPX7 rating is made to match the other Endurance series mainly for a stronger sweat resistant headphones for workouts. You will need to use the JBL Endurance "DIVE" for swimming since it has and Mp3 feature and a lock feature that will let you play Mp3 music underwater without any cutouts.

The neckband of the Jump seems thicker than the Sprint, is that correct and what is the reason ?

Asked by: dachshound
Hi. Yes, the Jump headband is a lot thicker than the one of the Sprint. The thick, shorter neckband is a more luxurious feature, indicating the higher price level of the Jump. It also has less independent movement than the thinner one, and makes the whole headphone seem more like one, integrated device.

Asked by: Squire098
Hi. The enhancer is the bigger silicone item that forms the basis of the "Twistlock" system that we have built into your headphones. This is a kind of threaded material, which you place against your ear, then twist it to lock it into the inner ear bowl. The smaller silicone tips are placed on the tip of the enhancer. The name comes from the original idea behind this feature, enhancing grip and sound.

How do I turn this "Sleep Mode" off. They are turning off and disconnecting ever 5 minutes!! It's very annoying, how can I stop them from doing this?
