JBL Endurance DIVE is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changing headphones These headphones are amazing in more than a few ways. I have owned wireless headphones before, but never anything as impressive as these. They truly are waterproof (I have used them both in the pool and the shower), and they feel so sturdy and reliable. The battery lasts fairly long and the charging time is short, which I appreciate when in a rush. The only downside to these headphones is that sometimes connecting bluetooth can be a little tricky if you don’t know the controls, but once you have the buttons down it is a breeze. They truly never fall out!! The magnetic over ear straps are so convenient and something that I have never seen before in headphones. On top of being waterproof, the sound quality is also impeccable. I would without a doubt recommend these to any one looking for waterproof headphones (or even just headphones!!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snug as a bug in a rug! I usually have issues with a loose wrap-around earpiece but these Dive Bluetooth are magnificent! The fit so nice I hate actually taking them off. The classic JBL rich sound is not lost on these little babies and the connectivity is on point! I havent gone swimming in them but i do walk in the rain and these will be on every walk with me from now on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very functional and simple. I work outside during the day and use these as hearing protection as well as a way to listen to music and take calls. In the evenings that I swim they still have plenty of battery left and allow me to continue to listen to playlists while I exercise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes swimming even more fun Make sure you read the user's manual so you learn how to lock the touch controls; otherwise the unit will not work well underwater. Sound quality is good as well as battery life. I swim 5x a week, 45 min each and I recharge it every week, however I have never ran out of battery while swimming. My only complaint is that the quality of the in-ear rubber piece is not too good. It is too soft and water can get in your ear easily, affecting sound quality. I fixed this by replacing this part with a set of spare Beats earbud rubbers - which are more firm - and problem solved. As a suggestion, put the headphone under the goggle's strap to make sure is not going to come out while you do breaststroke or butterfly. Nothing like swimming to your favorite tracks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything is great I never have issues with Bluetooth connection, I play basketball with these and I place my phone on the sidelines and never have my music cut out. I have a OnePlus 6 so not sure if the Bluetooth on this device is better than others, but nonetheless I'm very happy with my experience. Sound quality is great, with solid bass depending on how you position it in your ear. They've yet to fall out even a little bit despite all the running jumping and dribbling I do. It's only been about 2 weeks that I've had these during the writing if this review but hopefully these will last me a long time. Also extremely comfortable for me personally and the touch features are so friggin cool and way more useful than you might think.

How to switch from shuffle to consecutive play

Asked by: dzfbadrh
Hi. Please note that Dive has alphanumerical play function, and cannot do random, or shuffle, even if the quick-start guide says that it does random play. A revised QSG will be issued, since this cannot be changed.

Hi, what distance will the Bluetooth work? I.e could I leave my phone on the pool deck and swim 25m still connected?

Asked by: Kaylea
Bluetooth does not work underwater, please use MP3 mode. Lock your touch control before you get in the pool, as the touch sensor can be activated with water. To lock your touch, tap once and hold the next time for 5secs, your MP3 LED will blink when the touch control is locked. Finally, to unlock your touch control just switch off and on

How do I create playlist with the MP3s?

Asked by: Another_Ryan
An alternative option is to rename the files and set the same number for the songs that you wanted to be part of a playlist. (For example, 0 - name of song by name of singer/band.)

Bluetooth only connected the first time and will not reconnect ever since. the bluetooth light keeps blinking and when trying to connect to phone, it says device not within range. What do I do?

Asked by: jquach
Figured it out last night. Make sure you are not using the mp3, off so switch to Bluetooth. Next on your phone locate the Bluetooth connection of the headset and remove it from your phone. This will restart the Bluetooth signal and your phone should be able to find it again. I tried it several times moving from the mp3 to the Bluetooth and it seems you have to forget the Bluetooth device on your phone in order to get a connection every time you use the mp3. Hope this helps.

what format does the mp3 player use and how do I load music on the MP3

Asked by: Carla_regan
Hello! The Endurance Dive supports the mp3 format and for you to add music files to the earphones, here is what you have do:  1. Place the relevant music MP3 files on your computer, where you can find them again.  2. Connect the Dive to your computer with the USB cable. Please use the cable that came with the headphones, since other USB cables may be wired for charging only, and will not work.  3. Your Dive will now pop up in your explorer folder overview as a new drive. Total capacity is about 991 MB.  4. Now you simply drag-and-drop the MP3 files from their location onto the Dive, or you mark the files, copy them and paste them onto the Dive. Do not use folders of any kind, and do not try to place other file types on the Dive's memory. MP3 files with a resolution of 320 kbits/second is maximum quality possible.

How do you voice dial?

Asked by: Golfnhi
The JBL ENDRURANCE DIVE does not have a voice dial feature. You can only answer and disconnect phone calls if the headphones is paired with your mobile phone by tapping once on the JBL logo on the right earpiece.

Is the charging port supposed to stay open when swimming? I didn't see a cap or any instructions saying to close it, just want to make sure.

Asked by: Kuulei
Hi! Yes, the charging port is supposed to stay open. It should not affect its durability when being used for swimming.
