JBL Link 300 is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great except when it listens to your conversations The sound is nice for a kitchen speaker. It's very convenient to have a voice activated speaker. One eerie thing : someone used the word idiot and the google speaker chimed in that it was a derogatory word and could emotionally harm the person it is used against. And therefore the word should be avoided. But that is Google , not JBL. JBL speaker works very nicely. Very responsive, especially when connected to spotify.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and features! I got the JBL Link 300 and 20 on Black Friday to replace a Bose Soundlink 20 that I had purchased a few weeks earlier. At $230 the 2 JBL cost the same as the Bose, sound great and had the added convenience of the Google Assistant with multi-room music! I really love it! Repurposed an older JBL OnBeat Air with a Google Chromecast Audio dongle so I could stream music in a third room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Price for Great Sound I bought the JBL Link 300 after narrowing my choice to four speakers/brands and I am so happy I did. The voice activation isn't great and it takes a while for my phone to sync up with the bluetooth but I think that's because the signal in my room is really bad. The sound of the speaker is perfect and it fills up my room perfectly. I love it!

Is this able to be linked with a smart tv so that I can use it as an extra speaker for when I'm watching tv.?

Asked by: Lewis88
Hi, As far as we know, there are no smart TV's that output the sound through Google Cast / Chromecast or Bluetooth. You would need to contact the manufacturer of the TV to find out which output options their TV has, and if that would be compatible with the specifications of the Link 300

Can you pair these with the JBL Charge 3?

Asked by: Otoniel
You can successfully pair a JBL Link 300 with another Link series speaker  using the Google Home app. However, you cannot pair it with a JBL Charge 3 because they use different technologies for pairing. The JBL Link series makes use of Wi-Fi while the JBL Charge 3 uses the JBL Connect/Connect+ feature.

The JBL Link 500 is preferable for large rooms such as a big apartment room or living room setup. The JBL Link 300 should more than suffice if to be used in a smaller room like a bedroom or a kitchen.
