JBL Link 10 is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 146.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect balance of bass! The JBL Link 10 is perfect! I’ve used it connected to my desktop computer to enhance the sound and couldn’t be more satisfied. The sound seems to be a million times more clear and JBL did a great job on balancing the bass on it, perfect amount. I’ve also used the google assistant and it has been my personal assistant now, made my house smart and I can now turn the lights on and off with its help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Smart Speaker The JBL Link 10 is an excellent smart speaker. The speaker looks and feels great. It's slightly smaller than the Charge, but it sits upright, so it doesn't feel too big. All the buttons are easy to get to as well as the charging port. There is a cover over the charging port to make the speaker water resistant. Setup is easy and quick. It took about 5-10 minutes out of the box until it was connected to the internet and playing music. I had never used Google Home, so the setup time includes downloading the Google Home app and preparing that as well. The sound is good. I wish it had a little more bass, but it gets the job done. The 360 sound makes a difference. I mainly use the speaker in the kitchen while cooking and it fills the room easily. The wireless functionality means you can take the Link 10 anywhere in your house or backyard. This is the first time I've used a Google Home device. It seems to fall in line with other smart home devices. Playing music and asking questions/weather is very easy. It can also be setup to control smart lights and thermostats. Setting up more complex actions will take more time and a greater understanding, but it can do a lot more than I know how to do. The mic picks up your voice through ambient noise very well. This is a great smart speaker and I would recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Sound! The sound on this thing is crazy good. I usually have music playing when I'm home and this thing sounds like a stereo system. And the bluetooth quality is great. It can pick up my voice from the next room. If you're thinking about getting this thing just pull the trigger. Worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent wi-fi speaker The ‘feel’ of the speaker (fit and finish) is very, very good. This speaker is well suited for one hand operation. It has lots of bass plus lots of highs that I find very appealing to listen to. The buttons on the top are well placed In their layout. Excellent battery life – around 4 ½ hrs. Easy to connect to wifi. My favorite part about this Google enabled speaker, is that it can play thousands of audible books using the app Google Play Music! Very nice speaker !

my link 10 bought in US is not working in India. Now it doesnt connect to wifi and bluetooth is not working too. response from support team is super slow. I want some one to talk to me on phone and solve the problem.

Asked by: Anand_D
I have a Link 10 that was purchased in the US about two weeks ago and am using it in India. It works fine on voice as well as Bluetooth. I even have a couple of home automation devices set up through the Google Home app which work flawlessly. I don't think it's a country specific issue but could be an outdated firmware or product defect issue.

How do i find my MAC address on my Link 10?

Asked by: Sahi
After you have it set up, you can find it in the Google Home app under "Settings" section for the device. After you go into the "Devices" section of the app, go into the setting for the Link 10 speaker, and the MAC address should be listed at the bottom of the settings.

I have two Link 10 speakers (under a week old) they both turn themselves off after 2 hours if they are not plugged into the mains

Asked by: xocs
Did your speakers turn themselves off when not playing music? My Link 10 turns itself off after some time if not plugged in and not playing music. I thought that was intended. So this is not how it is supposed to work and needs troubleshooting?

Hi, when will the Link 10 receive the latest Assistant Firmware, Google Home speakers have had the extra features for ages now, I love the sound quality and design but if the speakers do not get regular updates and support it seems a waste of money ? Tha

Asked by: TwoJs
I would like a new update too. In new versions of Google Assistant it is possible to make it recognize only your voice (and link it with your account). This is a major update and I would like to count with it.

Is the link 10 ever going to be updated? It is falling pretty far behind in the Google Home firmware.

Asked by: Gabriel1985
We are hoping to have the software update be released this coming March so it is good to make sure that your Link 10 is connected to your home network as the update will happen over-the-air.

Does the JBL Link connect with any smart plugs

Asked by: Peanut92
The Google Home app now works with the a Smart Plug, where you can set it up to turn on or off, but this has nothing to do with the JBL Link speakers. If your speaker is setup with the Google Home app and you wants to turn your Smart Plug on or off via the speaker, at this time it is not possible. Future updates may very well allow this, although we don't yet have an official statement saying that it will or won't happen at this time.
