Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice speaker! I wanted to improve the volume and quality of sound from my 55” TV without having to use a big sound bar or surround sound system. This speaker is perfect. It doesn’t take up much space and sounds great! If you’re looking for more of a surround sound for movies and games then this may not be your best option but it you just want a better sounding TV, I recommend the JBL TV Boost.

I would love if Jbl would make a bigger version of this speaker as a single tv soundbar system without a separate subwoofer and with hdmi connections. Looking forward for any news of upcoming bigger jbl boost tv if any. I will be the first one to buy if it will be released. Pls JBL

The Boost really improves sound quality for your TV at a decent price. Set up was not difficult and size is not obtrusive. Very happy I purchased this product. I'm sure there are higher end/quality soundsbars and or boosters, but this was the perfect fit for the price range.

I have a boost tv and just bought a Fip 4 when i realized they are not compatibles to connect throught JBL connect. Is there any update? how can downloaded?

What you see is an update tool for the JBL Headsets and Portable speakers. The Boost TV is not included on this update.

If i get 2 connect boost sound bars would they be able to connect via connect+?

You can connect the 2 JBL Boost TV using the Connect feature but you'll need to have bluetooth as the source in order for it to work. The Connect feature does not work when using line inputs from the TV .

I just purchased this from target and I read reviews after the fact and I noticed that it does not support apple AirPlay...is this accurate?

Yes, the BOOST TV doesn't support AirPlay.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. This speaker can be connected using the aux or optical connections to the aux and optical audio output connections on any source pc, tv, etc. Both can be connected at the same time but only one source can be set to play at one time. Best Regards.

xfinity remote... went thru process of learn. On/off and volume ok, but all other remote buttons turn volume down. I have reset the boost, turned off the power, but does not 'unlearn' any of the xfinity remote buttons. Any suggestions?

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the learning feature of the BOOSTTV. To ensure that we did the correct reset process, please retry by – While unit is powered on press Volume + and Surround button at the same time for 5 seconds. This should remove all programming in the BOOSTTV. After doing so, test and retry the learning procedure. If none of these work, please submit a case at JBL.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

The volume up button on my Apple TV remote turns my Boost TV speaker on and off. I reset the Boost but it's still happening. Is there a way to make it stop?

Does jbl boost tv needs to be all time plugedd in in electricity or i can handle it whithout being in electricity

The Boost TV requires to be plugged in as it is not a portable speaker but a soundbar.
