Easy Set Up & Good Sound. Quick and Responsive UI
I am one day into using the JBL Link Bar and it is a solid Android TV, Chromecast and Sound Bar all in package.
My only two issues right stem from coming from the Nvidia Shield TV and a Google Home Max in the living room, the Link Bar takes the place of both IMHO.
1. The Amazon Prime Video app is not available as a native Android TV app like it is on the Nvidia Shield TV but you can Chromecast the content from your mobile device.
2. You can not add the JBL Link Bar to an already created Speaker Group in the Google Home app nor can you create a new group with the JBL Link Bar, this is an option available on every first party Google Home Speaker and other third party ones that I have.
I hope both of these issues/features can be addressed quickly and soon as this really is a great device for the living room but its missing these 2 things that prevent me from giving it 5 stars.

Incredible product with tons of features!
When I received this product, I thought it would be a good sound bar.
After powering it on and configuring it, it’s far more than that!
It easily syncs up through WiFi and has a built in GUI to sign into your gmail account. It can play your android phones app on your big screen TV!
i was able to connect the ARC HDMI port from the TV to the sound bar and then switch between devices, very smooth and easy to navigate.
This is the best JBL product I have ever had. It caught me by surprise to feature not only incredible sound but pack tons of features that I didn’t know about.
Another cool thing is I can cast music from google play to the sound bar! This thing is amazing!

Very buggy with no solution in sight!
I've been following this product since it was announced and delayed for over a year. As a tech enthusiast, I was very anxious to get my hands on a unit as soon as possible so I tracked its progress and bought it the day it went on sale. As an early adopter, I'm used to products not being perfect right out of the box. But this is unacceptable. HDMI ports don't work (ie: Blu-ray player won't show movies) and Google Assistant is mostly unresponsive (with indicator lights not even turning on) or commands not being executed (like watching a specific Youtube TV channel which works on all other assistants). When reaching out to Customer Service, they said they would investigate the situation, but then were quick to offer an refund without suggesting a replacement unit which leaves me to believe the problem may be widespread and there may not be a solution in sight. I've been raving about this product to friends and family and was looking forward to being a loyal and returning customer. However, at this point I'm just disappointing with this whole transaction.

Google Assistant Does Not Respond
I bought this last week and its been working great until yesterday. The Google Assistant stopped responding unless I use the remote, which basically defeats the purpose of having the assistant built in. The interface works fine, but I am noticing the picture is just slightly delayed from the audio through the soundbar as well. I will try to work with the settings to see if its my TV or the soundbar, but so far I think its probably the soundbar. With a few updates to the software this could be a great piece of hardware! If the issues don't improve I will likely return the soundbar as its pretty pricey not to work as expected. I will update this review if the issues get resolved.

Fantastic...Better than expected
It arrived today. Setup was easy. Only took a few minutes to have it running. The sound is amazing for the size. I was considering the subwoofer but not sure I need it now. This fills my living room with great sound. All audio ranges are well balanced with dialogue not overpowered. No more closed captions! The look is minimal and fits great under my TV. Streaming is fast. Android TV works great. Only thing missing is Amazon Prime Video. I'd buy this again tomorrow and recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality soundbar. Is it the best? No, but for $400 there are not many better, if any.

Can this speaker be added to Google home speaker groups? As in, I can pair it with all of my other Google speaker devices in the home app?
Any further updates on this please? If a software update is deployed to allow the Link Bar to connect to Google Home Max speakers, then the second it does I am buying this soundbar. Also are they working on bringing a surround sound setup using the muilt-room connect?

Does the Android TV OS include the YoutubeTV app on the Link Bar specifically? I see indications that its included on certain TV models but not nessesarily by default. Thank
Hi there, you can access Youtube TV through the Android TV, plus, you can also add other applications through the Google Play store.

When will Prime Video be supported as an application on the Android OS? The built in Chromecast also won't support Prime video; so this makes this difficult to sell as a one-stop shop. Also video freezing on YouTube TV is constant; hopefully a fix soon?

2 Questions, is the ethernet port a gigabit port (10/100/1000) or 10/100 and 2nd. What's the internal storage capacity and is there the ability to expand that storage with sdcards?
To the second question, about 4GB, and no expandable storage at all (no SD or USB ports).

What voice command can I use with the built-in Google Assistant to make the Link Bar change which HDMI source is active? Really hoping to not have to use the remote just to change source.
You can use your voice to change sources, but annoyingly you can't rename the name of the sources. I was expecting to be able to say "switch to sky tv", but you can't do that without setting up a routine in your Google assistant app (which is a bit hit and miss). Often, when I try to get it to change sources, it does a YouTube search that results with tutorial videos about how to change an HDMI cable on your TV!!!

I'm an Xfinity user and love the Xfinity remote. Can I set up the Xfinity remote to change the volume on the sound bar?
You May be able to do this if your TV is CEC and ARC compatible.When i change the volume on my tv with the tv remote or cable remote the soundbar volume is what changes.
