I am using these in a studio environment, while standard "computer speakers" are designed to be use in close proximity to computers and monitors how far away do I need to keep these speakers away from computers to not harm or affect them?
These are also MAGNETICALLY SHIELDED. Huge plus..

Do I need two speakers or can I just use one?
Depends on if you have 1 or 2 ears.
Yes, you can use only 1 and do not need a pair. But in doing so, you will not be using this product in it’s intended design / function.

hello I recently purchased two of these speakers for mixing purposes. However, when I opened the box and set them up, I noticed the audio coming from the speakers didn't quite sound right at all. When I play audio through the speakers, there is no bass.

Can I leave the speakers powered up and turned on while not in use or should they be powered down when not is use?

Can connections from 2 different devices one using XLR connections and one using TRS be made at the same time ? If only one source device is used at a time ?
