Purposeful product design
Enclosure designs have been optimized for ideal acoustic resonance taking advantage of injection molding techniques and mechanical shaping of the enclosures. This results in tremendous increases in cabinet volumes which enable better acoustic performance while maintaining the same footprint. Two intelligently positioned handles make the 600 easy to carry and move around. Integrated hardware mounts, designed into the enclosures, allow each model to be flown when required. And indexed feet molded into the enclosures allow for convenient storage and transport, secure stacking for stage monitor and traditional stand up configurations, and unique acoustic configurations.
JBL waveguide technology
The EON612’s extraordinary performance results from a breakthrough approach to waveguide design. JBL engineers examined the radiation characteristics of the EON’s high and low frequency drivers at 36 different points employing JBL’s exclusive, state of the art measurement techniques, then designed the Image Control Waveguide ensuring the sound radiation and coverage pattern match at the high frequencies, the crossover point and the low frequencies. The result is consistent response throughout its 110 degree coverage pattern. The quality and consistency between on axis and off axis response delivers uniform coverage and high intelligibility throughout the coverage area, which means the EON612’s smooth, transparent sound is the same for the entire audience.
Bluetooth integration
Knowing that fine tuning your sound needs sophisticated yet convenient control, JBL engineers developed an iOS and Android supported Bluetooth v4.0 compliant interface for controlling master volume, adjusting the 5-way, user definable parametric EQ, and saving and recalling user presets.

Simply Awesome!
For this price point these are truly amazing. I downloaded the app, did a little tuning to my preferences and Bam! These are my new goto for small to medium stuff. For larger venues I use the 800 series PRX set up and these serve very well as monitors or side-fills. Every time I have used these as monitors - I get nothing but complements - never had anyone say they couldn't hear themselves. I know the plastic may bother but I can assure you they are every bit as rugged as any other. I was very surprised how much low end I could get out of these 12's. You can't beat the EON line for the features and price- my JBL carry bags are really nice too- they are a must have!!

Terrific speaker
Got this thing on sale for around 300$. I really wanted something that was hopefully super loud, good bass, and overall a solid speaker to just jam to in the dorms. This is a perfect fit. It’s heavy but not huge and it has such good sound and bass. Wish I could blast it more. The only things it lacks is a Bluetooth feature that lets you play music from your phone and that it isnt portable( it has to be plugged in to work) but overall that’s not an issue. Yet to have any problems and very happy with it

JBL EON612
I bought this unit a week ago and love it. I work for Harman and have been using this PA System for our company special events. I purchased this one for use with my jazz group and it is awesome. It has Bluetooth for system configuration and that works good for tweaking the sound of all the instruments and vocals. I wish it was a Bluetooth audio receiver too. But for the price it is still good system.

I recently bought this speaker ,dream speaker,the sound is amazing,the control of the sound is very helpful with the app,there is no other name brand better than JBL

Can i play music tru bluetooth from my phone??
No, these do not support music streaming. The EON Connect app is only for speaker controls like volume. The speaker must have sound direct connected.

How much playtime does the battery have
Hello, good question. The EON612 does not have a rechargeable battery. It has an AC power supply, which means it can plug it and play as long as you want.

I puchase two JBL EON 612 speakers , but can not connect bluetooth my Anroid phone. Why?
There are 2 JBL apps. Download the "EON Connect" and NOT the "JBL Connect" app. Do NOT try to pair the speaker with your phone. The app will find them. Press the Bluetooth button on the back of the speaker once the app is installed and running. It can manage up to 4 EON speakers. You will only be able to adjust volume and parametric equalizers through the app (and a few more functions). These speakers do NOT support music streaming over bluetooth.
