Loudest-in-class Sound Reinforcement System with easy Wi-Fi Control

The JBL PRX812 is a full-range speaker designed for main system and floor monitor applications. Featuring a 12”, two-way, bass-reflex design powered by a 1500-watt class-D amplifier, PRX812 delivers incredible volume in a lightweight and compact form factor. It has been designed to deliver maximum performance for its weight and size as both a stage monitor and a front of house main PA. Two user selectable EQ settings are provided to optimize the system for either application. With a dual socket pole mount the PRX812 is a perfect match with a PRX818XLF subwoofer, offering a high performance self-powered sub/sat system. The PRX800 series integrates embedded ioSYS technology which enables easier setup and control when used with the HARMAN Connected PA app and compatible products. Connected PA delivers seamless plug-and-play operation with a variety of HARMAN equipment and enables you to control your entire live sound system with one app. Products within the Connected PA system self-identify and retain presets for effortless setup, and setup wizards help you quickly optimize speaker levels, configuration settings and EQ. Current products with embedded ioSYS technology and HARMAN Connected PA compatibility include the Ui24R mixer, JBL PRX800 loudspeakers, dbx Di1 direct boxes, and AKG P5i microphones and the MDAi dynamic microphone adapter.

Product Q&A

Can you hook this up to a reciever to watch in theatre i.e. blu ray, my reciever has rca Jack's but only one for left and right, this has two, pls advise.

Asked by: Tom7518
Hello, this is a professional PA system for live sound. It is not really designed for home theater use, but it is possible. These speakers have amplification in them, so for you to be able to do this with your receiver, you would need to make sure that it has line level outputs which bypass the receiver's amp. If you have that, then you'll need to make sure that you have the right cable connection, RCA male to XLR male. These speakers sound great and are LOUD, which might be what you're going for, but I would really recommend that you consider something from JBL's Home Audio selection: https://www.jbl.com/home-audio/

Is this speaker Bluetooth

Asked by: Bobby master
This speaker does not offer Bluetooth music streaming, may I suggest that you look at the JBL EON One Compact or IRX speakers, both available here on the site.

what is the difference in prx and srx

Asked by: Clint
Hello, great question. While both PRX800 Series and SRX800 Series offer best-in-class performance for their target markets, SRX800 is our flagship portable PA speaker line. Compared to the PRX equivalent-size speakers, SRX800 loudspeakers are louder and feature a higher power rating, wider frequency response and more EQ customization. Plus, we also offer SRX800 passive speakers. However, at the PRX800 Series price point, you won't find anything better, as these speakers feature tour-grade components and are the loudest in their class. For more information on PRX800 and SRX800, visit https://jblpro.com/en-US/product_families/live-portable.

(1) I can't find the PRX Connect app on Google Play. Where can this be downloaded from? (2) Does the claimed PRX Connect app allow mixing level control of the two input channels for the PRX812?

Asked by: mrbean

I have a PRX800 series. It appears to have some amber lights that are on inside the back of the speaker. One blinking and one that is steadily on. What does this means and how to fix it?
