How many microphones could theoretically be connected to this model…?

Asked by: ebcamiade
Thanks for your inquiry. Theoretically, You could use our JBL Wireless mic set and connect 2 more mics to have 4 wireless all in all or You can go down the mixer route and just send an unbalanced line-level signal to the guitar input and get as many mics as the mixer allows.

he upgrade file not work or my usb need some care? hi i follow the instruction to update the firmaware (now is the 015 version) but when i press the + and bluetooth buttos for 12 sec the leds turn red and the usb start to read

Asked by: tomcorc64
Thanks for reaching out. Please check if your JBL Partybox On-The-Go was successfully upgraded by pressing and holding the “Volume -” & “Bass Boost” buttons simultaneously for 4-5 seconds. The unit will broadcast by voice the software version loaded on the unit. Also, if you're still experiencing intermittent issues where the unit sometimes will not enter Charging mode at 1st plug-in of the power cord, then that's the time that you'll have to update it. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer support. We're here to help.

When it says that the speaker and mic are paired at the factory, does that include the RF channel or does the speaker do a scan for open channels every time, and push the mic to an open channel when it's turned on?

Asked by: Trizzle
By default, the wireless microphone or our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go comes pre-paired with the speaker at factory. There is only a designated frequency for the wireless microphone and the speaker.

Can you connect this to a TV?

Asked by: monocledlady
Our JBL Partybox On The Go is designed for music streaming while connected to phones, tablets, and laptops. It's not recommended that our portable Bluetooth speakers would be used to connect to a TV. These speakers are not equipped with apt-X-HD low latency audio codec and may cause audio-video delays but as an alternative, you may use an aux cable to connect the speakers to the TV to prevent audio delays.

Why can’t the mic connect

Asked by: Hovelson123
Thanks for your inquiry. If one of the wireless mics is not working, we recommend the following: 1. Turn off the speaker. 2. Turn on the mic and place it on top of the speaker. 3. Turn on the speaker. 4. The speaker should automatically pair with the new mic within 3 minutes and play a notification sound. If you need more help, please reach out to our customer support for assistance.

How to update firmware

Asked by: Ejzapata
Thanks for your inquiry. To update the Firmware of your JBL PartyBox On-The-Go, you will need a USB memory stick with at least 50Mb of available storage capacity and the AC power cord of the unit. Then, install the software upgrade located under "Documents and Downloads", named "Firmware Update for Partybox On-the-Go Version 38, 03/22/2022". You will need to UNZIP the software ZIP file “PBG_FW_202009100_Ver38_M_159.bin” onto the main root directory of the USB memory stick. The actual software file “PBG_FW_202009100_Ver38_M_159.bin” must be on the main root directory of your USB memory stick. We recommend that there be no other files in the main “root” directory of the USB memory stick. If the root directory does contain any existing files, we recommend that you either remove them or save them to a separate folder on the memory stick. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

USB - I can't get my USB to play on the party box go. How do I trouble shoot it?

Asked by: Brookschan00
We're here to help you with your JBL PartyBox On-The-Go. Please ensure your USB storage device is formatted with FAT16 or FAT32. The audio files on the USB storage device must be in the root folder and contains the supported audio formats, such as .wav, .mp3, and .wma. In addition, check if there's any debris or bent pins in the USB port or try to use a different USB stick to see if the same issue occurs. If you need more help, please contact our support via our official website or toll-free hotline.

Can i connect with a microphone headset for yoga classes ?

Asked by: michib
The JBL Partybox On-The-Go does not have the ability to connect to headsets. The speaker will act like a audio target device (just like your headphones), rather than a source (like your phone which is playing music), meaning both your headset and speaker will be expecting an audio source to connect to them.

Asked by: KLA23
Our JBL PartyBox Series can be used while plugged in. There's no harm in using the unit while it is connected to a power source. Our products have PCM circuits that manage the charging of the battery. However, if you'd like to save energy, unplug the speaker.

hi, can the jbl party box on the go connect with another one without wires? only via bluetooth? can i use the mic for both at the same time? thanks

Asked by: Frediooooo
Our JBL PartyBox On-The-Go can connect wirelessly via TWS. To do this, hold the Bluetooth button on both speakers simultaneously for more than 5 seconds. The speaker that is connected first to the source device will automatically be the left channel. If you connect an instrument or microphone to one Partybox speaker while using TWS, the audio will only play through the speaker where the microphone or instrument is connected/ paired. You will not hear the instrument or microphone in both speakers while in TWS.

Can I connect 2 mics at the same time

Asked by: Sammy44
You may use a 2nd wireless microphone with our JBL PartyBox On-the-Go as long as the Bluetooth receiver of the microphone is plugged into the mic port. We recommend purchasing our JBL wireless microphones as other brands might have connectivity issues or you may simply connect a 2nd wired mic and plug it straight into the mic port.
