I have a MBB-2.3 radio in my boat that has started working only intermittently.  Is there something I can replace it with and keep the same face plate?

The ma6002 is factory installed in my boat. It cuts out and the lights flash every 1/2 hr. Do I need to make an adjustment?

Asked by: DblD
Please unplug all speaker wires from the amp and see if the amp stays on. If it does, the amp is okay. Now begin reconnecting one speaker at a time until you find the bad speaker or speaker wire. If it does not stay on when nothing is connected, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can these amps be used with 8 ohm speakers?

Asked by: Madou
Hi! No, the MA6002 cannot be used on an 8 ohm speaker as it will push the amp too much. For more information, you may contact our support team via email at support.apac@harman.com and our Customer Service Team would be happy to assist you.

Not sure if I'm going to hook up using normal 18w speaker output wires or use the pre-amp wires out. Can it do either?
