I really like JBL products have numerous (Boombox is awesome). Bought this amp about 2-3 months ago and it overheats everytime when at lake..only pushing two 6.5&quot; Wetsound tower speakers. Why is it doing this repeatedly?

Hi Paul, thanks for reaching out. You could check for your wires and look for shorts and damage on it's insulation. Speaker impedance also plays a factor, if the speakers that you have is 2 ohms or lower, it would be normal to have the amp heat up on high volumes.
