I'm noticing that most of the JBL center channel diapers are 6ohm and the rest are 8ohm. What gives? I always thought that the impedance should match. Thanks

Asked by: Gomer
If your receiver is certified to play 6/8 ohms then you may use the 6 ohm speakers. The 6 ohm speakers will play a little bit louder than the 8 ohm speakers due to it's lower impedance.
