great headphone but...
Had my first set crap out after about 6 months of use. Just eventually shorted out and would not take a charge. I blamed it on my son breaking the charging port by plugging it in. Bought a second set in march at the, guess what, never let him charge them and the same thing happened. Has to do with the design of the headband. Keep pulling them in and out to the different sizes and eventually you'll experience it. Very poor design.

Great ideas poorly executed.
I love the features on the headphones, wireless so you have no worry of wires getting caught up. The way they fold up compactly. The sound limiting. The hidden charging hole. Unfortunately the build quality is not up to the same standard. I purchased them in July 2018 within 6 months they had stopped working. I contacted customer services and I cannot fault them I received a new set. Less than 6 months later the second set stopped working. Contacted customer services and again sent back for inspection and received a new set. This 3rd set lasted a bit longer at 9 months but was obviously out of warranty so didn’t bother contacting JBL. I purchased myself some wireless headphones at the same time as purchasing these for my son (not JBL) at half the cost and those are still going strong.

Great Set of Kids Headphones
I recently got a pair of these JBL bluetooth head phones for my 6 year old son. He had a been using an adult pair of Beats but some how lost them. These headphones have made him forget all about his lost pair.
These fit is head wonderfully as they are smaller and lighter than headphones made for adults. The simplicity of these bluetooth headphones has allowed him the freedom to manage the power. With only two buttons on the headphones he only has to worry about using the power button. The second button is the bluetooth button and is used to pair to devices. He has these headphones paired to his iPad and to my phone. The apple products display the headphones and battery life at the top of his iPad so he gets to monitor the battery level and knows when a charge is required.
There are some sheets of stickers that come with the headphones allowing your child to customize or decorate their headphones if they so desire. My son has used them yet, but I threw out the idea of him putting his initials and possibly his hockey jersey number.

Sound quality okay, Manufacturing Poor
We purchased this for my kids chromebook, and it was continually having issues. The bluetooth function kept disconnecting, then powering down. When we contacted JBL they said it was a known problem. There was a not am easy way to do a factory reset, and thus the suggested remedy was to buy a new one. This was really disappointing that JBL would not stand behind their product or try to support their loyal customer. I chose to go with a PUROQuiet for my replacement. The replacement offers both BT and corded features for a JR headset. I would strongly advise against JBL if they won't support their products or their customers.

Perfect comfort!
The JR300BT’s are great! My 5 year old daughter loves them! She’s hardly put them down since we’ve received them. The battery life is great! Which is great considering how kids are with charging their stuff.... Plus I can easily get her attention while she’s wearing them, which is good. Came with a sticker packet to let the kids customize the headphones just the way they like! I even tried them out and you get a full sound doesn’t sound like anything’s getting lost In there. Even at full volume you can’t get these things to hurt your ears. Its that great JBL sound just at a lower volume. I would strongly recommend them for children or anyone with sensitive hearing.

great for kids
Received these for my 11 year old son, who loves listening to music in the car, and can know listen to his own music without me having to suffer it too. The sound is great from such a reasonably priced product and I can be reassured that he won't damage his ears as the volume is restricted for little ones. The colours are great for kids and come with stickers to customise their own pair.

Happy kid!
My son loves these, the sound quality is great. They can go a distance from the device and still work well. The charge seems to last a long time unless you forget to turn them off ;). I love that there is not a cord because kids and cords don't always work well. They seem to be drop proof since we have already dropped them a few times in the short time we have had them and they still work fine. We need another pair for my other son now that way they can both watch the same device on a drive without everyone in the car having to listen.

My kids love these!
These headphones have gotten us through many long car trips with our kids! They're easy to use and hold a charge for a long time. They're also very comfortable. I got this JBL kids headphones well packed so it reached me in perfect working and cosmetic condition as expected to be.
Me and my girl been using these for past month and we are so happy! So far so brill I would say!
Bluetooth conection is superb,connected my phone's and computer from first time always! No crashing! No laging! Sound quality is superb as expected from JBL.Easy to adjust and cushions are so soft! My girl loves them
Really happy with these headphones and they look so great on my little girl. we needed the headphones, so she could use her iPad in silence lol the headphones connect easily, and they have great sound yet not enough to hurt her little ears. I love the fact these are so simple to work she can work them herself (3 years old!!) brilliant, I would recommend these!!

Great Product!
When I received the JBL JR300BT I showed the headphones to my grandson, who is 5 years old, and he was immediately drawn to the colorful headset along with the stickers that included to customize it. I checked out the volume to ensure that the levels were safe for my grandson to listen to.The headphones restrict the amount of full volume in order to be suitable for smaller children to use them. The JR300BT can be utilized for education as well as entertainment. Parents can rest assured that the headset is safe on their child's hearing. In all honesty, the JBL JR300BT sounded good enough for adult music use as well. The headset is well made. With swivel cups with hinges to allow folding. Be careful on the hinges though. They can pinch a little finger from time to time. All in all, I recommend the JR300BT.

Ultra portable Bluetooth headphones, love them
I got these headphones in the mail today and my kids haven’t been able to put them down!! They’ve already taken the opportunity to decorate them with the included stickers and listen to music for hours. The headphones are so much lighter and less bulky than I had expected, and deliver great battery life and sound quality regardless! The colors are so cute and the battery charges quite fast. They seem pretty durable, my 9 and 12 year old have both given them a run for their money and even sat on them, but they’re holding on! The size of the headphones is adjustable, I tried them on myself and while I didn’t expect them to fit (and they didn’t quite fit) I got to experience the sound quality and have to say I’m impressed!

Bad quality product!
My daughter, who is a very careful girl, has been wearing these headphones for just 3 months and they are already malfunctioning! A terrible humming sound on the left side makes the headphones completely useless. A big disappointment, since JBL products are knows for their good quality.

My daughter instantly fell in love!
When I first told my 8 yr old daughter that she would be getting these new Bluetooth headphones she was so excited! I left them in her room fully charged along with the sticker sheets. She got home with her mom about 2 hours before me. When I got in she had already decorated them with the stickers and had them on connected to her tablet. She was watching videos on a popular open steaming site. I had to force her to take them off to take a bath. Needless to say she fell asleep using them after bath time. I took the opportunity to try them myself. The earpieces are very comfortable. Sound level is of course low for my taste but that's what's great about them for kids with their more sensitive ears. It gives me a piece of mind that her hearing is safe in the hands of this JBL Jr product! She takes them everywhere she goes now. Lol. 2 thumbs up from me and my daughter!

Comfortable, with stickers!
So the initial excitement was all about the stickers. After they were decorated sufficiently, they were put on, and didn't come off. We have been through multiple kid's headphones with lots of comfort complaints or they just fall or get pulled off imediately. My 12 y/o daughter put these on and they didn't come off, even when they weren't playing anything! She likes to listen to audible books while she reads along and these are perfect. Bluetooth is a must, now, too, in order to keep the tablet from getting jerked onto the floor every time there's an urge to dance. :) I had to try them out for sound quality, even though kids aren't too discriminatory, and they were surprisingly good! Very happy to have these. My search is over.

Sounds good AND fits my head
I am an adult with a very small head. I've never been comfortable with headphones for adults and I expect better sound than most children's headphones deliver. These are satisfying in both regards. They are easy to use with minimal buttonry because they are for CHILDREN, which suits this senior citizen fine. It was also important to me to buy from a company that had good customer support, in English, in case I had trouble with the product. JBL was my go-to for speakers way back in the 1970s and I have trust in the brand. I hope they serve me well.

Perfect for my 3 year old. Still good for me!
I received these and sampled them for a couple of days. They are very easy to use and have a good sound. I compared them to other headphones I have and they stack up. The sound is good and loud enough but not too loud. The design is also very good. My 3 year old has worn them daily for days and that's saying something because she looses interest fast. Get these for you child and or teen. No disappointment.

My son loves them!!!
As soon as they arrived, my son wanted them on! However they needed to be charged up first which was very quick....10mins charge gives you an hour of battery life. He chose the orange and blue version so it came with an orange USB lead. The operation is really simple using only 2 buttons on one of the ear cups, which my son picked up in no time at all. The volume is regulated as they are child headphones but it was still a good volume. When I tried them on, I was surprised at the quality of sound they produced and the actual comfort of them. My son commented on how they felt as if he hardly knew they were on!!
The range of the headphones is advertised as 15metres which we never fully used however he moved from room to room in the house with no loss of music at all. The battery life is 12hours which was more than sufficient to deal with the needs of a 7 year old. The quality and build of them is also great and has stood up to being dropped on the floor a couple of times.
A nice little addition to the headphones is that they come with a set of stickers that allows your child to personalise them to their hearts content.
In summary, they are a perfect set of headphones for children.

Do these headphones have a microphone?
Hi, and thank you for your interest! Yes, the Bluetooth version of the Junior headphones has a microphone built into the body of one of the ear cups, and you can accept or end a call. This works as long as there is power in the battery, and Bluetooth connection is established to a telephone. If you look into the owner's manual, which can be downloaded from the web page, you will see the microphone shown in a drawing, as well as the phone button functions. I hope this helps.

Yes it can but since most of our bluetooth headphones are designed more on Music and not video, please do expect latency when playing videos/watching tv/gaming. I would suggest using a wired connection when connecting to avoid the said issues.

JBL JR300BT has 32mm drivers. These headphones aren't Noise-Canceling, so you would still be able to hear ambient background noise while using it.

The JBL JR 300 come in two different models, a wired version (JR300) or a wireless version (JR300BT), a version with both wired and wireless option is not available.
Alternatively to this models we have other headphones that can take both wired and wireless connection, however, this are not specifically made for kids.

Our JBL JR 300BT has a built-in microphone on the earcups and it can be used for phone calls. You can connect it with your devices via Bluetooth. If you prefer the wired version (No Bluetooth) we recommend our JBL JR 300.

I have bought my daughter the JR300BT headphones through Argos (£39.99) firstly in Feb 2018 they were great. After a month they stopped charging took them back and they exchanged them for another set. And now again after a month there not charging again?
