Rated 5 out of 5 by from NONE's better than EON! I've played my Les Paul thru it, my classical/electric thru it, sang thru it & listened to YouTube thru it. This EON is incredible. The 8" woofers put out ear-piercing 300 watts of sound. Plenty for any backyard party or indoor party. The settings include reverb for balancing any tone needed. Even though you can play your electric axe thru it, the EON is not designed for this. My Les Paul sounded too bright, even after adjusting the EQ settings. You can get by if you need a quick plug-in to work on a song without plugging into another amp. Each channel has its own settings. The EON is very portable & snaps together nicely in a suitcase-style fashion, making it easy to carry, set up & take down. The headphone input is nice & puts out great sound, just like the speakers. I keep the mixer & speakers apart in the bedroom for solitude practicing & listening to YouTube. Then, I just snap it all together & go. When I discovered this had Bluetooth, I was sold right there! You can play along with any song thru your mobile device. The Bluetooth does not interfere with my XViVe U2 wireless transmitter & receiver. Vocally, the sounds are awsum, too. The accompanying AKG vocal mic works brilliantly! The speakers have a 38mm pole socket for mounting onto speaker poles for maximum outreach. They're also light enough to sit on any cabinet or table. The 2 speaker cables, wall cable, AKG mic & mic cord all fit in a nice, stow-away compartment behind the mixer. Bottom line: I recommend this for any singer-songwriter, DJ, or party host. The price is worth it with the Bluetooth capability.

Do I need additional subwoofer or the bass is pretty good on these speakers?

Asked by: Insane
This system sounds surprisingly wonderful for it's size, and it has plenty of bass. However, if you intend to shake the rafters, you will need to add a subwoofer.

I have a need for more mono channels. Can I plug in two acoustic/electric guitars, one to each of CH5/6? If yes, will one guitar appear on the left speaker and one on the right speaker? Is there a way I can have both guitars to appear on both speakers?

Asked by: Mr_White
Yes, if you connect two guitars into CH5/6, one will come from the left speaker and one will come from the right. The only way to get additional channels would be to use a small mixer. Connect the guitars to the mixer and then connect the output of the mixer into CH5/6.

To the EON208P it is possible to connect an electric bass without damaging the equipment or "burst" the speakers?

Asked by: Gilberto
If you are doing a small acoustic gig and want to connect your bass as a form of embellishment to the acoustic guitar, you likely won't have any issue. Just don't push it too hard. On the other hand, if you are using this as a vocal PA for a full band setup (drums, bass, guitar, vocals, etc.) and want to pump bass through the PA, you should not do this. The amplifier and the speakers will not handle the demands of a bass guitar. You will surely blow it.
