Arena 61C: Great speaker for Home Theater System!
I purchased two Arena 61C speakers to be used as ceiling speakers for my home theater system upgrade. Great packaging to prevent shipping damage, detailed installation instructions, and nice mounting hardware for retrofit installations. I also contacted customer support for speaker location/orientation recommendations and received all necessary information promptly by email :)

Great Speakers!
I bought 4 of these speakers and I am so happy with them. They have good, strong bass and great treble as well. The magnetic grill is very easy to remove and even easier to put back on. Overall these are a great buy and I would definitely recommend them.

Awesome!!!!!
Bought 4 of these for a client who was upgrading a Media Room. Used them as fronts & rears in a 5.1 surround sound system. I was amazed at how great they sound & look installed. The client was skeptical of in-ceilings for a surround sound system before he heard these. Not only did these speakers change his mind, but now he wants to upgrade all of his other speakers to JBL. Strong works JBL!!!

Great SQ, low sale price
Bought four Arena 61C for use as Atmos front and rear speakers in a 5.2.4 home theater speaker configuration. Considered similar offerings by Canton, KEF, and Monoprice. None could match the speaker value found in the JBL Arena when on sale for $120 a pair. Bought four of these for cost of two Canton or KEF. Monoprice lacked the soft dome tweeter I was seeking.
JBL's soft dome tweeters are clear and sweet, mid-bass is solid (using a sub for low bass). Components, layout and design are top notch.
Definite Recommendation.

Was there ever a clear answer as to whether the Arena 6IC could be used in a covered patio environment?
Thank you for reaching out. Our JBL Arena 61C In-Ceiling Loudspeaker with 6-1/2” woofer with its XL-2 bracket is suitable for mounting in any wall or ceiling up to 2” thick. If your patio has these requirements then yes, you can use this speaker system in that location. Please visit our website to get more information about this product. https://bit.ly/2Y94xZa

Running about 30' of wire to the speaker. What size speaker wire should I run/ Is 16-2 enough?
That should be good enough as long as the wires are capable of running through the walls.

I would like to get these installed in my bathroom. Will it withstand the steam and moisture?
This is not an all-weather speaker so we do not recommend using it in a sauna. However, in a typical bathroom, it will work fine. The moisture and steam may slightly shorten the life of the product, but not in a drastic way.

I want to use these for my rear speakers in a 7.1 setup. I don't have a rear wall, close by, as this is going to be a great room. Is there anyway to point these more towards the seating area so they aren't shooting straight down on the floor?
In-ceiling speakers cannot be used in the wall due to speaker dimensions. A wall is not deep enough to accommodate the depth of an in-ceiling speaker. For quality listening, we recommend using architectural speakers according to their intended purpose.
