Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this JBL speaker. Sound is great. Had the regular JBL and this go 2 is better than that. Ruined it by dropping it in tub..this one is waterproof!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance & Easy to go I bought from the on-line market with low expectation as it is just small. Usually a small and mono speaker does not provide quality sound. But the first impression when I took it was heavier than other small, cheap speakers, which means has better speaker. Surface of Go 2 is soft and feel like covered by rubber. And when I turned, it was very easy to link my Samsung Note 9 and I got surprised the quality of sound. I know that it does not have that high level of quality sound but relatively, it was superb. The separation of bass and highs is good and when the PMPO of bass goes over its capability, it automatically reduces the volume. One thing that I want is that I want to play with two for stereo but I have not found any way to do it. Overall, value to buy with quality. Don't expect too much as it is just small to play and it does its roll in a excellent manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, what a great product A beautifully designed, simple to control, easy to set up, operate AND a fantastic sound, particularly for such a tiny size. Absolutely love it. Great and colours price too.

Can this be used as an external speakerphone for phone calls using a Samsung Galaxy?

Asked by: FastEddie
Only if you use the phone (answering or making a call) within around 10 minutes of having it connected to your phone. Otherwise it auto shuts itself down after around 10 minutes, even if you have it plugged into an external power source, a serious design flaw. This in my opinion renders this speaker pretty useless as a speakerphone.

I just bought this speaker and it will not recharge therefore keeps shutting off. I used the cable provided and tried different sources to power. Am I missing something?

Asked by: Jon T
Hi! Yes, you could try using a different charging cable that is similar to the original one. If the issue still persists, please submit a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

jbl go 2 or jbl flip ?which one is the best sound

Asked by: djtezcanpolat
The JBL FLIP would produce audio more loudly compared to the JBL GO 2 being that it has 2 woofers inside rated at 5W each, compared to the latter that only has 1 woofer rated at 3W.

will the battery still be drained when using a audio cable instead of bluetooth?

Asked by: kimbap
Yes, since the speaker still needs to be turned on so you can use it unlike earphones, it only needs to be plugged in.
