Room-filling JBL sound from a compact stereo speaker. Introducing the JBL Flip portable wireless stereo speaker system. This system also offers up to 5 hours of playback time from its built-in Li-ion (lithium-ion) rechargeable battery, with an LED indicator that tells you when to recharge – and when the speaker’s in Bluetooth listening or pairing mode. Through this speaker, which includes a microphone and call-answer button, you can even answer phone calls. With performance that comparably priced products can’t match, the JBL Flip is the ultimate wireless, portable stereo speaker for any environment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still bangin' Got this years ago as a present when they first came out. After all these years they still sound brand new and hold an excellent charge when not plugged in. Been dying to but the the Extreme 2, but waiting for the Flip 1 to go out. Doesn't look like its going out anytime soon. Honestly, my old Flip1 sounds better than the current Flip 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this speaker i bought this in my first year of university in 2013 for about £80. i've uses it at all my parties, taken it to the beach and on all my travels - needless to say it's seen some sh..t.... it's fallen from high places many times and never broken. this is the best speaker ever with great sound and a fantastic battery life. still using it in 2019 and won't be investing in a new one until i absolutely have to.

Hi. Is there a plug in for non-bluetooth devices?

Yes, there is an Aux port for 3.5mm Aux cable that you can use to plug in a non-Bluetooth device.

My jbl speaker light is solid blue while charger hooked up.after hours of charging I unplug and no light comes on. Whats wrong? Is there a way to see if it is fully charged?

The FLIP gets a solid blue light when it's paired to a source device. The led lights up in red when charging takes place and goes off when it reaches full charge. If it doesn't turn on when unplugged from the wall outlet, it sounds like it's not holding a charge. Try using a different charger at an alternate power source and let it charge for 3 hours. If this doesn't help, it may have developed a fault. Pease submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus for information regarding warranty options.

Good day I connect my phone to the flip it played but now when i connect there's no sound coming out

If I understood you correctly, your phone was working okay with the FLIP and now it's not. If this is the case, please perform the following: 1.Reset the FLIP by following this step: - press and hold the "Volume -" and "Power On/Off" buttons simultaneously for at least 6 seconds. The unit powers OFF by itself. Now the unit is reset. 2.Unpair/Forget the FLIP from your phone. 3.Turn the phone completely OFF. 4.Switch the phone back ON. 5.Turn the phone completely OFF "AGAIN". (this is important) 6.Switch the phone back ON. 7.Pair the FLIP with your phone.

I've upgraded my iPhone from 6plus to 7plus and it won't connect via Bluetooth. Can you help?

Make sure that the FLIP is on pairing mode. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. The power button will flash Blue/Red indicating that it is on pairing mode. Turn the Bluetooth of your device and look for the FLIP on your Bluetooth’s pairing list. If that still does not work, please reset your FLIP. In power ON mode, press and hold the "Volume -" and "Power On/Off" buttons simultaneously for at least 6 seconds. The unit powers OFF by itself. Now the unit is reset. Try to pair your device to the speaker after resetting

Microphone doesn't work when i connect to skype business.

Please go to the setting on Skype and set the FLIP 3 as the device to use from the Microphone, Speakers, and Ringing drop-down lists. If this doesn't help, make sure you are using the latest version of Skype and you will need to ensure that the Bluetooth software and drivers on your PC are up to date.
