How do you turn the bass down??

Asked by: Lukeymackikinbak
The JBL OnBeat Xtreme does not have a direct way of lowering the bass down. It has 5 EQ settings that you can change accordingly with the supplied remote control. These presets are Music (default) Movies, Chat, Internet Radio or Game. You may also need to use an equalizer app on your device to manuall lower down the bass frequencies to your liking.

Been using this speaker for a few year. Love the sound. But all of a sudden can start hearing rumbling from one of the speakers. Sounds like a torn diaphragm or something. Not sure how to get it fixed. The local support office was not useful at all.

can I attach a microphone into the auxiliary . If so, which microphone and cable size and type would you recommend thanks Neil

Asked by: Neil S
The auxiliary input is for connecting audio source(s), not microphones. The JBL OnBeat Xtreme has a built-in microphone which works as a speakerphone for Bluetooth enabled device.

The volume has broken down and gives "jumps" when you raise or lower the volume, I think it must be the potentiomentro that is dirty or spoiled. I have opened the device but I don't know where it is to replace it, is it in the membrane of volume control?
