Ultimate Car Audio by JBL

JBL—speaker of choice for the world's top recording studios, concert events and movie theaters, delivers a world class listening experience to car audio with the new Stadium speakers. Unmistakably JBL. The high output 2 ohm design extracts every watt of power from the amplifier or head unit enabling the patented Plus One™ woofers to deliver an impressive wallop for mega volume aficionados. Sophisticated crossovers coupled with soft dome tweeters produce smooth as silk highs with extraordinary detail even at the highest volume levels. An optional midrange speaker with bandpass crossover provides seamless integration with woofer and tweeter, transforming a two-way component system into a three-way system for another magnitude of sound. Rigorous OEM-level reliability testing provides peace of mind when it's time to crank it up for that inimitable JBL adrenalin surge.

Can a use this speaker for work them own or they are just additional one for 3 way system ?

Asked by: domitermi
I have these and you can use them on their own. I prefer to use the speakers without the supplied crossovers with a high pass filter around 600hz or 800hz from my amp.

My car doesn't have space for both a component mid-range and a component tweeter. Can I use the GTO 20M with the GTO 620, together? I would like to use a pair of 620 in the front and rear doors and 20M in the OEM tweeter location below the windshield

Asked by: Fuelish1
Yes, the JBL GTO 20M will work well with the GTO 620 speakers. You can do that if those speakers fit well with your car and should function normally without any issues.

I have the 860C component set in the front of my F150 already and i am thinking about getting these as well. The 860C say 100RMS and these midranges say 65rms, if i were to use the provided crossover am i powering the whole three way set off one channel?

Asked by: Tbrazz21
Yes, if you connect the mid to the same speaker terminal as the 680C, you will be driving all three speakers from one amp channel, just like any other 3-way speaker, and the 65 watt rating of the mid will be more than enough because the mid will only see the mid frequencies, not the deep bass.
