Club 6500c is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound I really like these speakers, they are really great for car audio.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for the price! I installed these a week ago. The previous speakers I had, cost more than I paid for my JBL Club 6500 speakers. At the time (10 years ago) they were high quality premium speakers w larger magnets. Obviously technology has made improvements to the size and performance of speakers and I couldn't be happier with the overall quality of sound and price that I paid for my JBL speakers.

looking to install club6500C to front &rear of ford focus RS 2017, i believe the rears are supplied by 1pr cable from head unit each for left&right and the fronts are supplied with 2prs cables from head unit for each front & left, is supplied crossover ok

Asked by: 1234enough
Hi. I am not entirely sure what you are actually asking about here, but if you ask whether the crossover network that comes with the Club 6500C component speaker system is OK to do its job, the answer is yes. You only need one plus and one minus lead from the amplifier to the crossover, and the woofer and tweeter then connect individually to the crossover's outputs. If this is about a built-in crossover in the car, you must ask Ford. We have no information about what Ford decided to do. Unfortunately, we do not specify a crossover frequency for the Club speaker set, so we would recommend that you do not use the built-in crossover, if there is one in the car. Disconnect it, then use the original JBL filter.

2000 Toyota Solara, two separate speakers for front. The tweeter has a 3.9 uF cap in line with the coil which measured 2.75 ohms. Can I hook up 6500C 6" speaker directly and use only the tweeter with the crossover?

I recently bought a used 2005 Toyota Avalon. The music system is outdated and I wanted to change it. Suggest me a music player. Thanks

Asked by: FarBac
JBL actually does not sell aftermarket head units at this moment. But we would recommend that you look for an updated head unit from Crutchfield(www.crutchfield.com).

Is any cable supplied to connect the tweeters to the crossovers etc...? Cheers

Asked by: Calico
Hi. There is a length of wire sticking out of the tweeter, with spade lugs to connect to the crossover network. If this cable is not long enough, because the crossover is placed too far away, it is necessary to use an extension wire, which you must supply yourself.

My reciever has a built in crossover with tweeter option, should I still use the crossover that comes with these speakers?

Asked by: LoyC
Yes. The crossover that came with the CLUB6500C was fine-tuned to provide you the best possible results with the speaker so it is best to install and use it.

Where can I find the T/S parameters of this speaker? Thanks

Asked by: catone_il_censore
The speaker components in the CLUB 6500C were designed and manufactured specifically for the CLUB 6500C. They were never sold as raw drivers. For this reason the T/S parameters were never provided or published as these specs would only be necessary when designing an enclosure for a speaker.

Hi - I note the impedance is 3ohms. Is this the main driver impedance or the adjusted impedance at the crossover presented to the amplifier?. My head unit is rated 4-8ohms and 22w RMS per channel.

Asked by: nickthesafe
This is actually the main driver impedance. Basing on the rating of your head unit, you may need an amp to maximize the usage of your speaker or if your head unit has gain control, that should also help.
