A legend is reborn.

A decade ago, JBL engineers introduced the 660GTi Component System. The premium system celebrated the company’s 60th anniversary by setting new standards for power handling, distortion reduction and sound quality in cars. Now the 670GTi brings uncompromising JBL performance to a new generation of car audio enthusiasts. Featuring the identical woofers, tweeters and crossover circuits as its predecessor, this reference-class component system delivers huge power-handling capability, flat response and unparalleled distortion elimination. It even simplifies installation by splitting the crossover into separate, one-channel boxes. The product of meticulous design, manufacturing and testing, the 670GTi represents everything JBL engineering stands for.

how big is box with this product I mean size of this box

Asked by: Artist
It is impossible to give these dimensions as we don't know where you will be putting it. So the shape or size must be decided by you. Here's a way to calculate the sides of an enclosure. One cubic foot is 1728 cubic inches. Let's say you want to build a 6.5 cubic foot box. Convert 6.5 cubic feet to cubic inches by multiplying 6.5 times 1728, which equals 11232 cubic inches. The area of a rectangle can be calculated by the formula Length x Width x Height = Area. So, pick two sides that you would like to come close to. Lets say a height of 22 inches and a depth of 20 inches. I'll pick 24 inches as the width to start. 20 x 22 x 24 = 10560 - too small 20 x 22 x 26 = 11440 - too large 20 x 22 x 25.5 = 11220 - CLOSE ENOUGH So, your internal dimensions would be 22" High, 20" Deep and 25.5" long.

Are the crossovers the same size as the 660 gti crossovers? And do they come in the same huge packaging?

Asked by: DaBoss8869
Thank you for your question; the new 670GTi uses two much smaller crossover networks instead of one large unit found on the 660GTi component speaker. This makes for an easier installation process. The packaging on the newer model are quite small as well.

Hello the 670 gti is bi-ampable?? Thanks.

Asked by: Joaquin
The 670GTI has one set of inputs on the crossovers, so they aren't designed for bi-amping when using the included crossovers. If you want to bi-amp, you can use external crossovers either built into the amp, or before getting to the amp, but this is not recommended, as the provided crossovers are quite intricate and are not easy to duplicate with external crossovers. You will likely get the best sonic results using the provided crossovers.
