They are very comfortable and paired easily with all the devices we threw at it. The control buttons are placed fairly well and did not take long to master.

The sound from the left speaker is much stronger than from the right one. Is there a way to fix the sound balance (equalizer)?

Hi Pierre, I have the same problem as you, my left speaker is much stronger than the right but it wasn't like that, 2 days ago it was normal. Could u solve the problem?? Thanks

Hi I just bought E55BT and it does not connect to my apple watch Series 2 It says " Make sure jbl is turned on, in range, and is ready to pair " . All are done but still doesn't work. Does anyone know how should I connect it ? Thanks

The JBL E55BT should be able to connect directly to your Apple Watch to play music. To do this – 1 - Put your headphones in Discovery mode. While the JBL E55BT is on, press and hold the Bluetooth button for more than 10 seconds. The light indicator should start flashing blue. The JBL E55BT is now on pairing mode. 2 - Open the Settings app on Apple Watch. 3 - Tap Bluetooth. 4 - Select the JBL E55BT. The apple watch is an extension of the iPhone. If the primary audio content is coming from the phone, the watch and headset will only work if they are within a certain distance of the iPhone. If you are having issues with this, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

I just got this headset. I'm charging them via my desktop but when I slide the "on" switch, the headphones won't turn on. They work with the audio cable connected. Without the cable the on switch doesn't work and there's no blue light.

Are you charging at the same time you try to turn on the headphones? It's not possible to turn the headphone on, probably to protect the battery. It's normal behaviour. It will even automatically turn off when you plug in the USB-charging cable.

Will the E55 headphones connect to a new macbook pro? I can't seem to connect mine?

Hi Jo92, Our headphones use standard Bluetooth protocol when using together with a MAC/PC your device requires to have the right drivers to support the headphones. We recommend contacting Apple support for help regarding the right drivers. Our headphone have these Bluetooth profiles: HFP v1.6, HSP v1.2, A2DP v1.2, AVRCP v1.4. Hi, i just bought my JBL E55BT yesterday and last night it died. I charged it for 2hrs and put an alarm to unplug it, because it says on the box that after 2hrs it can last 20hrs. When i looked, it had barely any charges. Left it overnight and still low b

Is the mic built-in to the ear cups or is it seperate and needs to be attached? I would like to use these  to teach online with and am wondering how well the microphone works in comparison to a permanent built-in microphone?

Yes, the E55BT has a built-in microphone that you can use for phone calls via Bluetooth connection. In wired mode, the bundled cable has also a microphone so you can use it for hands-free calls.
