Which amp would be best for these?

Asked by: Jeepy
The best amp for these would be the JBL Club 5501 since it drives 550W at 2 ohms while the Stage 1220B subwoofer enclosure can handle up to 500W at 2 ohms. It can be used with the setup as long as you don't push the volume to the hilt as it may cause the Sub to blow

Hi I purchase that S2 1224 for my 1969 VW Bug I love the sound I was wondering I have a 2004 BMW M3 what would be the best enclosure the one that has the 212 with the slotted in the middle or this S2 1224

Asked by: Dennisd
It would definitely be on a matter of preference. If you prefer more bass then the S2-1224 should be your choice since it has a frequency response of 25 Hz - 175 Hz, otherwise if you want more power then you can choose the JBL stage 1220B which has a frequency response of 34Hz - 200 Hz.

Are these good for a mk5 2009 volkswagen gti

Asked by: Aconde
Hello! This is actually something that we cannot determine because the JBL Stage 1220B is a box with two subs. You would need to decide where to put the box and your car and measure it to decide if it will fit. The information and measurements of this product can be found on https://www.jbl.com/JBLSTAGE1220B.html. If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly by submitting a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

would this amp work for these subs Riot 1000-Watt Full Range, Class A/B 2 to 8 Ohm Stable 4 Channel Amplifier with (A16L) 7 LB

Asked by: Jeepy
The STAGE 1220B subs can handle up to 500W RMS of power @ 2-ohms while the Boss R2504 Amplifier can only drive up to 188W RMS to a 2-ohms speaker/subwoofer. This makes the set-up not advisable for you are not able to maximize the potential of these subs, plus the fact that the subs will only play a single channel (L or R). Please note that the STAGE 1220B, even if it has two 12" subs, only has one set of terminals (+ and -).
