JBL EON615 Purposeful product design - Image

Purposeful product design

Enclosure designs have been optimized for ideal acoustic resonance taking advantage of injection molding techniques and mechanical shaping of the enclosures. This results in tremendous increases in cabinet volumes which enable better acoustic performance while maintaining the same footprint. Two intelligently positioned handles make the 600 easy to carry and move around. Integrated hardware mounts, designed into the enclosures, allow each model to be flown when required. And indexed feet molded into the enclosures allow for convenient storage and transport, secure stacking for stage monitor and traditional stand up configurations, and unique acoustic configurations.

JBL EON615 JBL waveguide technology - Image

JBL waveguide technology

The EON615’s extraordinary performance results from a breakthrough approach to waveguide design. JBL engineers examined the radiation characteristics of the EON’s high and low frequency drivers at 36 different points employing JBL’s exclusive, state of the art measurement techniques, then designed the Image Control Waveguide ensuring the sound radiation and coverage pattern match at the high frequencies, the crossover point and the low frequencies. The result is consistent response throughout its 110 degree coverage pattern. The quality and consistency between on axis and off axis response delivers uniform coverage and high intelligibility throughout the coverage area, which means the EON615’s smooth, transparent sound is the same for the entire audience.

JBL EON615 Bluetooth integration - Image

Bluetooth integration

Knowing that fine tuning your sound needs sophisticated yet convenient control, JBL engineers developed an iOS and Android supported Bluetooth v4.0 compliant interface for controlling master volume, adjusting the 5-way, user definable parametric EQ, and saving and recalling user presets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have 4 of these - 3 are dead after a year of use I have 4 of these - 3 are dead after a year of use. I have taken them to two different repair guys who said the amp is blown. Cannot be fixed. I use them in my basement at fairly low volumes for acoustic rehearsal. They simply don't turn on after a while - and JBL's answer is "Im sorry". After a lifetime of being a JBL fan... I cannot ever buy another one. I cannot trust their products any longer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Sound, Crappy Amp Fuse Design. These speakers sound amazing if you can keep the fuse from blowing.. I've had these for five years now and each speaker has failed multiple times. I first had to replace the amp on one unit, then the next unit, then a year later, both units. So after spending $550 for each speaker, i've also spent another $250 for each amp repair and i've done FOUR!!! that's $2100 i've put into these and guess what... less than 9 months after the entire amp was replaced on both units with a new one from the factory THEY HAVE BOTH FAILED AGAIN! i'm not willing to pay another $500 to repair these speakers again. I will either learn how to replace the fuse myself or get rid of the units. Excellent performance when working, but overall more of a headache than they're worth due to the fuse design.

Can I use these speakers w/ a Home Amplifier as long as I use a XLR (JBL EON615) to RCA Cable (my amp) ?

These speakers already have amplification built-in. If you want to use them with your home receiver, you'll need to make sure that the receiver has line level outputs,
