JBL® Everest™ Elite 100 is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has it all This product has everything I needed in a set of earphones. Bluetooth, noise cancelling & works with phone. When 1st trying them a bit disappointed with the sound & attributed that to the noise canceling technology. A previous set from Bose did a great job of noise cancelling but the sound wasn't that good even though Bose sound is normally pretty good. Downloading the JBL app. took care of that & with the control you get with the included equalizer the sound is great now. Another thing you must do is take the time to see which set of buds works best for your ear. A proper fit contributes to a better sound as well & facilitates the noise cancelling attributes. They're comfortable also. The one criticism I would have is they're not very powerful regarding volume. Sometimes I like to rock & these don't get up there. Perhaps with the noise cancelling aspect they might be loud enough, we'll see. All together a fine product. Clicked average on durability only because I just got these & don't know yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comprehensive Review I recently bought the JBL Everest Elite 100 even though I had a pair of LG Tone Platinum. The one thing I can say about this pair of headphones is WOW. First off, the sound you get when wearing these headphones is bar none. The bass hits poignantly while the treble and mids hit clean and well. The only issue is no retractable or magnetic earpieces so that may become an issue. The build of the product is good. I originally thought the neck piece would be an issue but the headphones do not shift the way one would think because the build seems to be heavy enough to hold still but light enough to not be a nuisance on the neck. The extra piece to hold them in while doing exercise are definitely a good addition. Overall a great product with great sound for those who are willing to purchase a product worth its price in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not As Amazing As I Have Come To Expect From JBL I'm going to be a little harsh on these earbuds. Pros; Loud, Noise Canceling, Comfortable AROUND THE NECK, Easy to Use Cons; odd sized ear tips (i wish they had the same fit as the Everest 100), Noise Canceling is mediocre. This device doesn't carry the Everest title as well as its counter part. The non-elite version of this device has better noise isolation than these. Now theoriticaly that would be combated by the ANC, but that doesnt seem to be what i expected. Overall these are really nice headphones but I had Higher expetations after using the Everest Elite 700

My headphones are only holding a charge for about 2 hours when they used to hold a lot longer of a charge. also the charging light turns off after a while even though they aren't fully charged. Used many outlet and charger sources.

I am having problems with the microphone on my JBL Everest elite 100 headphones. When I get a phone call the person I am talking to cannot hear me. It use to work but stopped. Is there a setting I am not finding?

Asked by: G Leighter
It sounds like your phone’s current Bluetooth settings is set to Audio option only. To enable the microphone function, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and select the REFLECT MINI BT settings. Tap on the Headset option, leaving both Audio and Headset options with a check mark. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Why does the unit turn off without touching anything?

Asked by: needhelp
Sorry to hear of this problem you are having. What you are experiencing is not normal. In order to ensure that the issue is caused by a defect in the EVEREST ELITE 100, try using a different USB charging cable at an alternate power source. It may also be due to the Auto-off feature of the EVEREST ELITE 100, which automatically turns to standby when it does not receive any audio signal for 10 minutes.

I really like these headphones. I am finding that it seems to trigger the 'OK Google' voice prompts when I am doing nothing that would prompt that. Is there something I can avoid that is likely triggering it?

Asked by: bazzap
This is not an issue with the EVEREST ELITE 100. When your phone is connected to a headset/earphone with a microphone, “OK Google” detects keywords and activates based on the commands that it recognizes. We do recommend that you contact the developer, or the manufacturer of your phone to see on how this can be deactivated.

is there remote control for pausing music

Asked by: yael
Yes. To Pause/Play audio when using the EVEREST ELITE 100, you simply need to press the Multi-function Button (MFB) located on the left arm of the EVEREST ELITE 100. This button is labeled with an "M". A single press of this button pauses/plays audio. Twice skips to the next track and thrice goes back to the previous track.

How long can we run the unit with noise cancellation active from fully charged battery before the battery is finished?

Asked by: SeanG
Your EVEREST ELITE100 can run up to 6 hours of music play time with ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) and BT (Bluetooth) on. The volume level and the type of audio being played, whether it has a lot of bass or not, will also affect the music play time of the EVEREST ELITE 100.

Can we use the unit while it's charging?

Asked by: SeanG
No. The EVEREST ELITE 100 cannot be used while charging. Plugging in the micro-USB cable disables the earphones for operation.
