Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the battery life and sound quality Bought these a little while ago and they are very comfortable however one of the over the ear parts came off and I've been trying to find a replacement to no avail I can still use them without it's just not as tight on the ear without it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mid-range wireless earphones With things like this, you often get what you pay for. I'm sure the ones that cost $100 are better, but these are pretty good and reasonably priced. I have the Focus 100 Yurbuds (which I love), and I wanted to graduate to the wireless version, so I bought these. So far, they're great. Perfect fit, no pain. Normal earbuds fall out of my ears and hurt after a time--these don't have those problems whatsoever. The sound is pretty good, except that they are a little weak on the bass side of the spectrum. The rubber earpiece cover seems to be tighter than on my Focus 100 original model earphones, and they are more comfortable because they added some padding that also helps the sound. One thing that I liked about my original Yurbuds is that I could still hear ambient sound, which I understand other customers may not like, but I could hear cars coming behind me while running and people talking to me in the gym. These filter out that ambient noise, which is a little disappointing for me, but other people might like them better for that. The connection skipped a little here and there, but that could have been my ipod.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wireless headphones for the money!! Very good. I question those saying "not enough volume". I would suggest they spend a little time with the earbud sizes. I had some sound closing off until I got the right size. Once I got that right, they are very comfortable, reliable, long batter life and stay put. Very good for the price. They don't get 4 stars from me more for the controls, would prefer more buttons than reusing buttons so much by function. Also the mic for phone calls. It is OK, not great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Considerably quiet I bought these looking to replace my jay bird X2's. After using them for a few day, Im pretty disappointed with sound volume. I know this may depend on the device that it is connected to. However, at full volume with the Focus 500's I can easy carry on a conversation with someone while pushing the earbuds into my ears. Jaybirds would deafen me at full volume on the same device. Dont recommend these if you plan on listening to these anywhere other than a library. Maybe wait until they go on sale at Walmart. That being said, they are comfortable and have a decent design.

Hi, how do I improve the sound of my JBL Focus 500?

One factor to improve your sound with the JBL focus is by having to properly put the Earphones to your ears, To properly put them on, gently insert the enhancer into your ear with a forward motion towards the jaw, which should twist and lock the enhancer into place. It took almost 5 minutes, and numerous times of pressing the center button and holding it for 2-3 seconds, before I was able to hear the voice prompt powering off. Any reason why? Any advice?

I seem to be having an issue discovering it on my iPhone. When I plug it in to charge the charging light comes on for a few seconds and then goes out. I push the on button and nothing comes on. the included instructions do not help.

Thank you for taking sometime in sending us your concern. To charge the FOCUS 500, plug in the charging cable, light comes on and when fully charge the light goes out. To pair the FOCUS 500 to your iphone, press the center button until it blinks red and blue, now, your FOCUS 500 is ready to pair. On your phone, turn the bluetooth on and it will show the FOCUS 500 on your phone and tap on it to complete the pairing process. I bought a Inspire 500. They worked great the first two month I had them, however they will not stay charged anymore. I have tried multiple chargers and different usb ports and the headphones will not start. The charge light goes on but then it not starts

What is the recommended duration of first time battery charge?

All of our new units are pre charged so the first time charging varies on how much battery the stock unit has when you bought it. To prolong the battery's life, we advise that you do not drain the battery completely. Make it a habit that once the battery gets low, immediately charge the unit for maximum of 2 hours or until it's full.

We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue.  I would like to verify if you are pressing and holding the middle button on inline remote to power on the FOCUS 500.  If it is, try charging the headphone with a different cable to isolate the issue.  If the issue persists, please submit a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.
