Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful little friend I bought this as JBLMICROIIBLK-Z (re-certified), regardless of its size, this is a very powerful small speaker, the crisp and sound of it its amazing. If you don't like to carry big stuff, this is right product for you, you can use it with any portable device, even connect it to you mobile phone and have a phone conference call, sounds better than a regular conference speaker phone.

The speaker is connected (JBL MICRO II) , gives sound, then the sound stops working but the column remains on . how can I solve the problem?

The JBL MICRO II’s batteries may not be working properly.If the speaker is within a year from purchase, Please submit an email case to www.jbl.com/contactus and our customer support team would be able to assist with the warranty of the speaker.

How do I know when battery is charged on Micro II

As shown in the owners manual, when the battery is charging, the LED indicator's light is colored RED. Once fully charged it would turn BLUE.

How long does it take to fully recharge it?

Two (2) hours to recharge original Micro.  Since both still have five (5) hour batteries, assume same charge time for both, too.

I have an older plug in Micro II. It doesn't seem compatible with Win 10. I plug it into my computer and the sounds go off from my computer but no sound comes through the speaker. Under the same scenario, with a set of ear buds, the sound works. Help.

It sounds like your computer doesn't have the appropriate USB audio drivers installed. Please Google "windows 10 usb audio device not working" (without the quotes). You will find Microsoft articles addressing this very issue. This will likely solve your problem.

I have a JBL Micro II speaker & love it. When I charge it I plug it into the computer. A red light comes on. Do I turn the speaker on to recharge it or leave the red light on to charge it?

The MICRO 2 can be charged while switched ON or OFF without risking overcharge. The LED will turn blue when the speaker reaches full charge.

Can not get it to pair with my ipod or cellphone anymore. Is there anything I should try to reset the unit? Works fine when using the plug-in.

Please try the following steps to possibly fix the pairing issue. 1. Unpair/Forget the MICRO 2 from your source device. 2. Turn the source device completely off. 3.Switch the source device back ON. 4.Turn the source device completely OFF "AGAIN". (this is important) 5.Switch the source device back ON. 6.Pair the MICRO 2 with your source device. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to assist you.

Hi, My Micro 2 was bought in 2014 July. I see the Aux cable ends are wearing out and i can see the inner metal wires popping out. What do you suggest?

With an item like this, the best thing you can do is continue to use it until it actually stops working, at which point you can either bring it to a local electronics repair shop and have them replace the jack, or purchase another unit. It is a tough thing to decide, at times, with products at this price, as the repair can sometimes cost more than the cost of a new unit.
