High-performance soundbar with Bluetooth technology and powerful bass.

You’ve got a high-definition, flat-panel TV screen that flawlessly displays all the grandeur of your video the way that its creators intended. But how about the audio? Unfortunately, these screens don’t come with speakers that match the brilliance of their video. The JBL® Cinema SB200 provides you the outstanding JBL sound that we install in movie theaters throughout the world – and does it without compromising space or style. This two-channel soundbar speaker features dual 3-1/2-inch (89-millimeter) woofers, two 1-inch (25-millimeter) tweeters, a built-in amplifier that offers up to 120 watts, HARMAN Display Surround technology for 3D sound and dual-positioning equalization that optimizes the soundbar’s performance based on its location. Its high-excursion drivers and precision bass port work to deliver powerful, resounding bass, so there’s no need to add a separate subwoofer. But what makes the SB200 even more impressive is its integrated Bluetooth® technology, which allows you to stream music easily from digital audio devices such as your iPhone, iPad, smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, laptop or personal computer. But more than providing you with exceptional sound, the SB200 also looks fabulous. Able to complement flat-panel TVs that are 32 inches (812 millimeters) and larger, the JBL Cinema SB200 is ready to grace your living room with powerful bass and beautiful sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT SOUND I aquired the system one month ago.The woofer is great with deep bass.pairs easily with the soundbar. one area of improvement i would propose is to add a feature where you can reduce the volume on the sound bar separately. While listening to music, the sound bar is too loud it overshadows the sub woofer even when bass is at maximum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound This is my second purchase of this sound bar. I have one at my summer home and after trying another brand and returning that one to store I found that other brands really don't come close to the volume and sound by the jbl 200.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great room filling sound. Bought this as a gift for my son who lives in a huge open loft apartment. JBL never disappoints. Deep rich bass, which is always tight, never booming, and crystal clear high frequencies. This is what JBL delivers. Fills the entire apartment with sound. Well done JBL.

My Bluetooth suddenly stopped working. it used to work ok. Now in paring mode, the BT light flashes but the SB200 is not discover-able by any device (tried a few). Is there a way to Master-Reset the device back to factory settings? Thanks, Amos

I am struggling switching sources. I have the optical from the TV and an audio from a turntable. I have to press the source button multiple times, wait each time for it to swap but its painful as i can go around this like a dozen times before it connects

Asked by: madeinengland
What you are experiencing is normal. Unfortunately, the CINEMA SB200 does not have an Auto-Switching feature wherein the soundbar will automatically detect an audio signal.

Is there a way to make it so the soundbar doesn't automatically connect to my phone via bluetooth every time I get home? It's really frustrating having to manually turn it back to the optical input for the TV every time I want to use it.

Asked by: ThaMuthaFlippin
The phone is initiating the connection. On my phone, I go to Settings > Bluetooth and there's a list of all the devices I'm paired to. Selecting "SB200" gives me the option to Disconnect.

Tried pairing to a UN43KU7000 Samsung TV, will not pair. Will pair to my phone but not TV. Will not allow volume and mute to sync from the Samsung remote either. Followed directions from manual. Any help?

Asked by: Kipp
If your TV has a GUI(Graphical User Interface) that allows it to choose a device that you would want the them to pair with, then the SB200 would work with your devices. However, if the TV does not have that said GUI, then there is no way for you to choose the SB200 and pair with it with your TV. Then the only way to connect the speaker is via optical and 3.5mm AUX cable. As for learning the remote's command, please make sure that you are doing the programming with the remote and the soundbar as close as possible. If you are still having issues, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to assist you.

How do I turn off the bluetooth? I connected to my TV via optic cable. The SB200 keeps trying to pair with my phone and I don't want the Bluetooth option "on".

Asked by: ScorpioRNSWL
What you are experiencing with the SB200 is not normal. To try and resolve the issue, first, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the SB200 for at least 3 seconds to disconnect any previously connected device. I noticed that you are in Australia. If you are still having issues, please contact the store that you’ve purchased the unit from and they should be able to assist you or at least guide you to those who can.

Hi, I am using Cinema SB200 Sound Bar. Now the remote's battery needs replacement. Unfortunately neither the JBP website product page nor the manual supplied has any mention of the battery number/specifications. Can you please provide details via email.

Asked by: RiazL
The SB200 uses CR2025 Lithium coin batteries which are widely available online or through electronic stores.

The sound on my JBL SB200 sound bar cuts off after about 10 minutes have it hooked up to headphone jack and the mini in. Like the sound, but can"t watch a movie or TV show.

Asked by: EaroticSounds
The SB200 has an auto on/off feature that is based on sound. As soon as the SB200 sees an audio signal present, it will turn on and begin playing. Once it stops seeing an audio signal for 10 minutes, it goes into standby, waiting for the next time you send it an audio signal. So, if your SB200 is turning off when you don't want it to, it is likely because you are not sending it quite enough audio signal from your source (whatever device you have connected to the aux input). Simply turn the volume up on your source to at least 75%, and turn the volume on the SB200 down, to compensate. This will send the SB200 a solid signal, it will stay on, and it will sound better.
