Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous sound This is my first soundbar, but I must say I'm impressed by the difference in sound against the TVs speakers, the only thing is you need to move the sub woofer round the room to find the best position, at the end of the day it's well priced for what you get, you can spend thousands but do you need to ?

How to update jbl st150 firmware

JBL should revise the firmware of SB150. I have read most of the comment that there is no difference of subwoofer sound by increase and decrease its level. At this moment most of drawbacks of this model published all over online purchase website is the subwoofer sound. I believe this SB150 will produce great sound if SBL revise the latest firmware in terms of subwoofer strength and publish to customer for self update. FYI I just bought this system less than one month. Please do not let the buyer down.

Subwoofer too soft (hardly audible but can feel the speaker vibration when push my hand to touch the woofer) even at highest volume. Anything that can be done to improve it?

Turning up the subwoofer’s volume using the SB150 remote control will like solve the issue. However, if you are streaming music via Bluetooth, it is possible that your Bluetooth device is not sending out any deep bass information with its current settings. Please check your audio settings in your music app. Make sure everything is set OFF in the EQ/Tone settings, and set the volume on your device a bit on the louder side while setting the volume on the soundbar lower, to compensate. This should give you the low end out of the sub that you are looking for. I noticed you are in Malaysia. If none of these things work, please e-mail support.apac@harman.com and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

I have purchased your product but I have a problem, i pulse the button of the subwoofer for 3 seconds or more but cant connect the speaker with the Soundbar. I've tried many times without result. Its normal?  can you help me?

Hi, Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear, you are having problems with sub-woofer pairing. When pressing the sub-woofer pairing button for more than 3 seconds, then it should start flashing rapidly. If it does it, and can't connect, please try move the sub-woofer closer to the SB150, and try again. Please turn off other WiFi or Bluetooth products nearby, so that there isn't anything interrupting the pairing mode. If you still having problems, please contact our helpdesk for further assistance.

Hi there, The subwoofer on this model doesn't seem to produce any kind of bass. Is this a flaw with the model? I am really disappointed if it is.

Hi Adam Thank you for the question. I sorry to hear about you problem with the subwoofer. Have you tried to pair the Sub with the soundbar again? If this is causing you problems then I would suggest that you contact the customer support, who will help you trouble-shoot you soundbar and if it is concluded that the sound-bar is defective then you can make an arrangement to send it off to a service-center. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to contact customer help-desk.

Hi. The bass control for your system is on the remote control, which was in the box. The bass buttons are marked 8 on page 5 of the owner's manual.

Hi It's not possible to set a "standard" volume. The SB150 will use the input volume which is set from the source device. So if you have the SB150 connected to a TV, you should have the volume on the TV lower, this will result in a lower volume on the SB150 when you turn this on. I have the same issue has Lim jaehoon: SB150 automatically turn the power off. Why??? I should turn it on again and again.... The interval are between 5 min to 2-3 hours

Hi. Your soundbar has an automatic off-function that is triggered if you do not play for some minutes. This system may shut off also if the input signal is very weak. If possible, try to increase input volume, then control listening volume on the soundbar, not on the source device. We hope this helps.
