The new E40BT takes JBL’s legendary signature sound, adds advanced Bluetooth and mobile features, and packages it all in a sleek design that’s both comfortable and head-turning. JBL’s engineers have combined generous 40mm drivers with PureBass performance, treating your ears to expansive frequency response (10hz to 24KHz) with full, undistorted bass. Bluetooth technology allows wireless connectivity with phones, tablets and music players, while giving you single-button access to crystal clear, connection to your mobile phones, using echo-cancelation technology. Built-in ShareMe™ technology lets you to stream music wirelessly to another ShareMe-equipped headphone. A built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery gives 16 hours play time, and when the battery is flat, use the included aux cable for continued, uninterrupted listening. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Introduced new undertones After listening to a track that I have heard many times I realized I had actually been missing some of the soft spoken lyrics and undertones. The range is expansive and pure. Even when playing at a modestly loud volume the music was pleasing to the ear, not sharp or harsh. Well done.

It is really practical to have the Bluetooth feature for wireless listening, which is the primary purpose for this product, surprisingly for a Bluetooth set of headphones, sound quality is not distorted. WIth the cable, the headphones work just as well, it is however very easy to lose the wire, as I did, and as far as I know, I cant purchase another wire.

Great for sound editing with clear quality incomparable to other headphones I have used in the past in a similar to higher price range. Bluetooth range is better than any before. Great for working out, household chores, and other activities that require lots of cord free moving around.

i was given these for fathers day i think a year ago maybe two well about 9 months in the left ear stopped working and t mobile refused to replace them which is who we got them from why did it stop working?

What you are experiencing with the E40BT is not normal. Try a different source to isolate the issue. If your source device has a balance control please check and make sure that it is not set favoring the left side. I ordered a pair or the E40s but my inner geek is confused. What is the true frequency response? 20hz-22khz as stated in the audio specs, or the &quot;expansive frequency response&quot; 10hz-24khz beyond human hearing range. Jbl makes both statements.

When connected via 3.5mm cable to my laptop, the microphone worked for past 1 year and now suddenly stopped. It works fine when connected to my iphone via cable. Please advise.

Bluetooth connected, no sound transmitted. Win 10 pro. CSR Bluetooth Radio USB dongle. Anyone know why, have a fix?

check printers and devices see if the headset is shown then right click, left click on properties, check to see if all is enabled. Then you should be able to click sound test.

How to understand that the headphones are charging?

The LED should light up red when charging, and changes color to white when charging is complete. The E40BT charges for 3 hours from 0-100% using the cable provided with the unit @5V1A. Please note, charge time will significantly increase when using lower amperage micro USB charger.

My E40BT the led lighted up white and it's not connected, it doesn't turn off with the power button and it cannot be paired to anything. What could it be?

I recently bought the JBL E40 BT. I got them to listen to the TV. I also bought an aluratec receiver to go into the audio out jack on the receiver. They paired once when I first got them. Now they wont pair at all. Wont pair with mpow either.

Please make sure that the E40BT is on pairing mode. While the headphones are ON, press and hold the Bluetooth button. The LED should start flashing, indicating that the E40BT is now ready to pair. Turn your Bluetooth device ON and you should now be able to connect to the headphones. You mentioned that this was bought recently, if you are still experiencing issues, please contact the local or online store where you bought it from and they will be able to help.
