In a world grown oversaturated by conventional, plastic headphones, we decided to take a long, bold leap into authenticity. Imagine a lightweight yet durable die-cast aluminum frame with a sturdy steel headband. Picture woven fabric accents. Think sculpted, soft leather ear cushions that envelop your senses in precision-designed comfort. In sum, envision the new S700 Stereo Headphone by JBL. Born from groundbreaking acoustic research in Harman's laboratories, the S700 is modeled after the same JBL sound systems used in the world's most prestigious clubs, delivering a balanced audio experience with razor-edge clarity and deep, powerful bass.

From the company that gave you some of the world’s finest concert and club sound systems comes a headphone that carries all the power and precision of a live concert event straight into your ear. That’s the concept behind JBL’s proprietary LiveStage™ digital signal processing technology – as easy to use as it’s impossible to imitate. With the simple push of a button on your earcup, you’ll find yourself front and center – engulfed in a lifelike music experience without precedent. How it Works; LiveStage represents a breakthrough in acoustic research. Using an advanced, binaural digital signal processing, LiveStage recreates the sense of spatial presence that you feel when listening to loudspeakers in a room, creating immense sound dispersion, unadulterated vocals, and stunning instrumentals. A true listening pleasure,

It’s no trade secret we’ve created the world’s most legendary loudspeakers. Artists from the Beatles to Maroon 5 have used JBL equipment to create some of their most historic recordings. So it should come as no surprise we’ve taken Pro-Audio sound to new highs – and depths – of power and portability in our Synchros Series. Introducing JBL Professional Audio Sound with PureBass performance. To recreate the first ever Pro Audio experience in headphones, we first had to define it: enter JBL LSR 6332 loudspeakers. Harmonious, complex and truly lifelike, we sought to recreate the awe-inspiring listening experience within the Synchros series of headphones. JBL engineers painstakingly measured the LSR 6332 acoustic profile, and leveraging decades of audio engineering expertise, translated it to a unique headphone listening experience – ready for the most diverse and demanding of playlists. PureBass performance is much more than a tag-line, it’s a philosophy. Focusing on the full audio spectrum, not just the low end, the headphones deliver a balanced audio experience with amazing clarity, and deep powerful bass; producing clear separation of notes, avoiding the boominess and muddy sound found in other popular headphones.

One key thing almost every other powered headphone lacks is the power to sound good even when the battery power runs out. The S700 features a built-in, rechargeable Li-ion battery to deliver 28 hours of enhanced listening with LiveStage technology, but it also features a Passive playback mode to keep the music going even when the battery is dead. Unlike other powered headphones, the S700 is designed to sound great in passive mode, so even though the benefit of LiveStage technology is inactive without power, your music will still come through loud and clear.

Detachable cable design with both an iOS 3-button remote/microphone cable and a universal 3-button remote/microphone cable included, giving you the flexibility you need for on-the-go listening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Build Quality and Ideal Driver Size The 50mm drivers in these headphones are my new standard. It delivers the bass I need to hear for modern music. The build is awesome! I really hope JBL keeps expands on this flagship product and gives it the necessary attention/exposure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Headphones! Recently got these headphones as a replacement for my S500's and they sound fantastic! Although they are nice, I do have 2 complaints... Number 1: The headband is a tiny bit smaller than the S500's headband, so I have to pull the band down to the 2nd notch. Other than this I think the build quality is superb! My number 2: The Livestage DSP really doesn't make much a difference in the audio. On my S500's I noticed it way more, but it does work and all, but would have preferred it to be more noticeable. Overall I am really happy with the headphones despite my 2 setbacks. I definitely think this is a good pair of headphones for audio files, music producers, and even your techy person in your life. Owning these headphones I get asked, "What are those?" Many people ask to listen to them and get blown away. Totally recommend these headphones!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound Jbl sent me these for a replacement on my S500 which had a wire problem. Love the sound with the rechargeable battery The headphone case is very difficult to arrange; trouble putting headphones away. That's why it's a 4 star not 5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best headphones I own I bought these for a graduation present to my self when i finished high school. I have to say i did a lot research on headphones especially when i am about to spend a lot of money and these were the best ones so i bought them. They are so greatly built and light weight. the only thing is i wish that the cups were like deeper if you know what i mean, can't really think of the name or how to describe it. They are also tight on the head to which i do and don't like

Hello, What is the impedance of headphones JBL Synchros s700 please ..?

Asked by: mosquito69
The S700 has an active and a passive mode. As a purely passive headphone, it has a 32 Ohm impedance. In active mode, it is a high-impedance load, around 2.2 kOhm. This is because the source no longer looks into the speaker drive units in active mode, but looks into an amplifier, which does not place any load on the source, needing little energy.

Other than the cosmetic chrome appearance, what is the difference in the synchros 700 headphones and the Synchros Chrome Edition

Asked by: Chzynachoslayer
The Synchros Chrome is not a wireless headphone as opposed to the Everest 700 which you have the option of wireless or can also use an audio aux cord. The Synchros Chrome features AAA batteries which allows you to have up to 20 hours of LiveStage technology which is a digital signal processing that enhances headphone audio to recreate the experience of listening to a live performance. The Everest 700 features the ShareMe 2.0 which allows you to connect to Bluetooth headphones and share music. The Chrome features a 50 mm driver as opposed to the Everest which features the 40 mm driver. Both headphones have a frequency response of 10Hz-22kHz.

I've noticed that they sound slightly hollow unless I press the buttons on the cable. Holding any/all of them down results in a much richer, roomier sound. I'm guessing that there might be a problem with the cable. Anyone else experience this?
