Would it be a good fit for my amplifier (Fatman Carbon Trinity)  Max o/p:25Wx2 Freq resp:20Hz-20KHz(±1.5dB) Dist: ≤0.5% Sig to noise ratio: ≥86dB Input sensitivity: 200mV Input impedance: 10KΩ Output impedance: 4Ω /8Ω

Asked by: Hbriones
Since the Fatman Carbot Trinity can drive up to 25W per channel and the ARENA 120 can handle up to 100W, this would work well with each other.

What kind of speaker connector does the arena series take, banana? Is there a recommended gauge too?

Asked by: Master_English
The connector on the ARENA speakers is the 5-way binding post, including Banana. Thick wire gauges (12 or 14 gauge) are recommended for long wire, high power and or low-impedance speaker applications. For relatively short distance wiring application (less than 50 feet from source), 16 or 14 gauge wires would work fine for the setup. With that said, it would really depend on how long or how you would place your speakers.

How do these mount to the wall?

Asked by: Jsprague56
The ARENA 120 comes in a relatively small box, and in the packaging you´ll find a user manual, a mounting template for drilling holes, eight adhesive rubber cushions which may be placed on the bottom or back of the cabinet to protect both the speaker and the surface it´s placed. Each speaker has two keyholes on the back and will require two 1-1 /2" (38mm), #10 wood screws fastened to a wall stud. If a wall stud is unavailable, install an anchor appropriate for a 1-1/2", #10 screw. Here's how to mount the ARENA 120. 1. Using the included wall template, mark the positions on the wall where you would like to place the mounting screws. 2. Fasten two 1-1/2" (38mm), #10 wood screws to the wall using the markings from Step 1 as your guide. Leave an 1/16" (1.59mm) space between the wall and screw head. If a wall stud is not available, use an appropriate anchor. 3. To protect wall, attach 4 rubber cushions (included) in suggested locations. 4. Place the speaker on the wall by aligning the keyholes on the back of the speaker to the screw heads on the wall. Once positioned properly, the speaker should slide down slightly and become secure. NOTE: You are responsible for the correct selection and use of mounting hardware (available through hardware stores) that will ensure the proper and safe wall-mounting of the speakers.

What are the recommended wall mounts for the Arena 120?

Asked by: Rich_Bower
There are no fixed/required distance for mounting the speakers on walls. It would really depend on your listening preferences. For perfectly natural sonic response from the speaker, it should be at least 12” from the wall. As you move the speaker closer to the wall the perceived bass will increase. You can move it as close as you’d like to the wall, to get the desired bass from the speaker, as long as you don’t place the speaker any closer to the wall than the diameter of the port.

Can I connect to TV?

Asked by: Vamshi
The speaker needs an amplifier to work, so if you are looking to connect the ARENA 120 to your TV, you would need to have an amp or a receiver.
