Add Brooklyn's The Jealous Girlfriends to the legions of twinkly-pretty bands who've been tagged to add some indie cred to a handful of high-profile TV shows (in the Girlfriends' case, Grey's Anatomy, the L Word and CSI: Miami). It's no surprise music supervisors are after 'em - the tunes on their self-titled debut effortlessly worm their way into your head using every 00's pop-indie trick there is: chiming major chord guitar, lilting boy/girl vocals, skittering, driving drums. One listen to the echo-y bounce of "Roboxulla" and you'll know what I mean.
