The JBL Horizon clock radio wakes you up with one of several original wake up sounds, one of five programmable radio presets, music from your smartphone or tablet played wirelessly via Bluetooth® or a traditional buzzer. The Horizon features two separate customizable alarms in a compact design that fits easily on any nightstand or kitchen shelf. With a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts display brightness to outside environment, a large snooze button and a built-in battery system that wakes you up even during a power outage, the JBL Horizon is both easy to use and necessary to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from About Time!!!! The evolution of alarm clocks has been going backwards offering no style or convenience until now. This is a very modern and sleek looking device that automatically dim and brightens the display depending on lighting conditions. In fact, it has it's on light that can be turned on manually or the option of lighting up when the alarm goes off.(Fantastic feature!) Blue Tooth, two USB ports that charge your phone, rounds out these great options. The sound is by no means concert hall quality, but for a device this size it sounds good enough. For all those complaints about button placement is unfounded. Within a couple of days all was second nature. Set up was a snap without using the instructions. It fulfilled our needs so well, a second one was purchased. Thanks JBL!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Before I bought this I read some of the reviews, both positive and negative. I called JBL up to get some feedback on some of the negative ones. After talking I felt confident that I would not be buying a "lemon". I am a long-time JBL consumer dating back to 1982. I currently have a 7.2 surround system made up of Control One's and 2 Sub 100P subwoofers and a Loft 20 center channel speaker that I've put together over the last few months to replace the JBL 6.1 system. (it still worked) I have another pair of floor tower speakers that I bought 15 years ago. I say all this to note that the Horizon is in the same class as the rest. It was easy to setup. The display dims to the right level. The sound is excellent. I was able to pair it up with my smartphone and listen to Pandora via Bluetooth. I set the alarm up to go of with the default sounds and also with Bluetooth. JBL has yet to, and probably never will disappoint me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Alarm Ever! We had this radio/alarm in our room at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, FL when we were on vacation. Loved it so much we went online and ordered it immediately, and it arrived the day after we got home. Such a gentle way to wake up, best alarm ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best alarm clock i've ever had I use this alarm clock to wake up to music via blue-tooth on my smartphone, also use it to wake up to Stav, Abby & Osher on brisbanes hit 105 radio app on my smartphone and that's a real bonus for me because I love waking up with them and there my favorite morning crew. The 2 usb ports included are a good thing to have because I can charge my smartphone & iPod while i sleep. The sleep timer works well with music streamed via blue-tooth on my phone and as well as hit 105 and i like the fact that it pauses the audio once the sleep time has been reached. I also like how the alarm goes from a subtle low volume and increases slowly in the mornings, it saves me from getting up to an alarm that is too loud that it jolts me out of bed and that it can be so low that i mightn't be able to hear it. I also like the aux port built into the back of the clock as some of my devices don't have bluetooth. Overall i like this alarm clock and i will be using forever.

FM radio, Bluetooth, alarm options, etc etc etc---along with the usual JBL sound quality, I can only recommend the "JBL Horizon" by saying that you don't know what your missing until you have this product!!!!!!! Beyond compare!!!!!!!!!!!

How to i turn off the ambient light after i on it? tried pressing the snooze/light button many times but it doesnt turn off. tried holding for 2-3 seconds and light still doesnt off

What you are experiencing is not normal. Pressing the Snooze/Light button should be able to turn the ambient light off/on. Please submit a case at support.apac@harman.com and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

The Horizon is undetectable by my iPhone 7 and cannot connect to my iPhone 7. I've tried all methods even hard reset of the phone but nothing works. How can I resolve this?

To isolate the issue that you are experiencing with your HORIZON, please try to connect to a different source. Also, make sure that the HORIZON is in pairing mode 1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the HORIZON for at least 2 seconds. The HORIZON will go into pairing mode. 2. Look for Bluetooth devices on your phone and you will find the HORIZON. 3. Pair the two together. I noticed that you are in Singapore. If you are still having issues, please submit a case at support.apac@harman.com and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

how do i get the fM to go above 90.00 as it only gives the option from 76.00-90.00 where as yhe stwtion im looking for is 91.9 , please do let me know how to go about.

Please reset the unit to accommodate additional frequency. While unit is on, Press and hold the FM & VOL + button for 3-4 secs. Expected Result: The Unit will perform a Factory Reset. The text “RESET” should be displayed on the LCD during this time. Do not unplug AC until the unit is completely done resetting which you’ll know as the time will get reset and the back light with light on then turn off. I noticed you are in India. how many bluetooth device can you connect on jbl horizon at the same time?

The HORIZON can be paired to multiple source devices but can only have one active connection at a time.

Will you have a fix allowing to control the FM radio volume in alarm mode? I have SW version 26 and the Bluetooth alternative is not suitable for me. I like the device quality, but this issue makes it so unusable I'm thinking of returning it. Thank you.

Same problem here. Initially I was very happy with the alarm. I had is as a gift. But the increasing volume is really disturbing. I only wish to wake myself up, not the entire neighbourhood. That's why I will send it back to you. It shouldn't be too hard to fix that or am I mistaken?
