Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Finish Very happy with the ES250's. They are an excellent subwoofer and with 400 watts have more than enough bass for what I need. The frequency range is very good and can easily go from subtle to room shalking.. These are excellent speakers and proudly finish off my JBL speaker system. The quality and finish is outstanding and will go with any room.. I would recommend the ES250's to anyone that wants a solid and reliable sub woofer. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great subs for the money !!! This is my system which is geared for music only . 400 watts per sub is nice! One will do the trick for most home theaters . Two will bring the house down! Hopefully they will last . Have fun !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly satisfied This is my second sub of the same kind that I purchase. I had the other one for over 3 years and was very happy. This second subwoofer has completed my 7.2 setup and it really makes a difference having two instead of just one. I highly recommend it.

Can you play music of the speaker

Asked by: Jbl is best
This is strictly a powered subwoofer, providing ONLY subsonic deep bass audio. It cannot be used on its own. It must be connected to an audio receiver with speakers. It will enhance the existing system and extend the bass response.

Can you connect your phone to bluetooth and play music?

Asked by: Jbl is the best
This is strictly a powered sub and must be connected to an existing stereo or surround sound system including a receiver and speakers. You cannot pair a device directly to this sub.

how is this connected to speakers or other devices?  Is it an RMS input, xlr input, quarter inch input or 8th inch input?

Asked by: apc123
This is a home audio powered subwoofer, so it uses the home audio standard of RCA line level audio inputs. You would not connect this to other speakers. It would be connected to the sub or line output on a stereo or surround sound audio receiver.

I have a JBL Venue series Sub 10 with a 12" driver. How does the ES250P compare to the Venue series?

Asked by: ondrums
The VENUE SUB 10 has a 10" subwoofer in it. The VENUE SUB 12 has a 12" sub in it. If you have the SUB 10, it is very much like the ES150P except that the ES150P has an amplifier that is a bit more powerful. The SUB 12 is very much like the ES250P except, again, the ES250P has a bit more power. So to answer your question, if you do in fact have the SUB 10, the ES250P is much more powerful and has a bigger driver.

I just ordered the ES250P and I just realized that my amp has sub or lfe outputs, The last jbl sub i used had speaker in and outputs on the back. Is there a way to still use this sub with an vintage pioneer amplifier.

Asked by: loudnproud
Yes, you can purchase an after-market speaker/line level converter. Google "speaker line level converter" and you will find many options. One of the less expensive $20 items will be similar to what would normally be found in a typical powered sub.

how many speaker outlets does this subwoffer have

Asked by: gutiar joe
This is strictly a powered subwoofer. It does not have any speaker input or outputs. It is to be connected to an existing stereo or surround sound receiver that has a preamp or subwoofer line level output.
