Rated 5 out of 5 by from tired of waiting Looks good on paper but been waiting for this to be shipped since March. They just keep pushing it back every month. Hope y'all got patience but couldn't take it anymore and just bought the Alpine ALX-007

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love JBL I am a professional Installer at Best Buy. I always promote the JBL products because they sound great. I'm stoked that JBL has made the leap into the Indash unit. This is very bold and I hope it does well. $400 for an indash with carplay and android auto is an absolutely amazing deal. I cant wait until I get a chance to install this unit. I'm definitely buying one of these!!! To customers that don't know if this radio will fit their vehicle: This is a double din radio. It is a standard size. Most newer vehicles will accept this radio. If you have any questions, call best buy and we will be happy to tell you if it will fit in your vehicle. To JBL: Keep up the great work!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look nice, however now we are up to July? I really wanted to purchase this device. I like the look and the price and JBL traditionally makes great products, however the ever increasing delays with this unit make it impossible for me to purchase it. We went from March, to May and now it is showing July. Sorry guys I have to go elsewhere for my Apple Play compatible receiver. Sorry

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's certainly a great step forward for after market CarPlay & Android Auto devices. However, the capacitive touch display with 138.2 DPI/PPI native screen resolution in today's mobile environment is hugely disappointing. For most users it won't sit well to view the extensions of their mobile device in lower native resolutions than their hand held ones. As the device display is the most important component of any mobile hardware that acts as an interface of the auto infotainment system. This is where you view colors & read text of control buttons and contents. I hope JBL would soon upgrade the poor native screen resolution & color gamut. I myself can't wait to get some hands on experience as soon the current one becomes available.

Hoping to replace Kia Sportage stock radio with this. Will I be able to activate Siri from my steering wheel controls? Currently the button activates Kia's proprietary awful voice recognition mode even when using iPhone over bluetooth.

Asked by: Voorti
Yes, by having a steering wheel control adapter (sold separately). This lets you control the receiver with your car’s steering wheel controls.

Would my current CD changer still be accessible? Would I have to install a microphone to utilize speakerphone ability?

Asked by: JDiddy
The CD changer will no longer be accessible once the LEGEND CP100 is installed. It comes with a microphone. A microphone is required for Bluetooth calls and voice commands with Apple Carplay or Android Auto so it has to be plugged into the microphone input of the LEGEND CP100 .

Is this compatible with 2016 outback with harmon kardon amp?

Asked by: Legap
This fits most vehicles today. However assuming that this would be the Subaru Outback 2016 model, this should fit the car as this is a 6.75” in-dash receiver.

I have a classic car (and found a nice way to hide 2-DIN when not in use). What are the exact pre-requisites to get this device installed?

Asked by: monaco
As long as your factory premium systems with external amp has two preouts, the LEGEND CP100 can be hooked up directly. However, you would have to check if it fits your car at this link. http://www.jbl.com/car-audio/

Can I hook up directly to my JBL synthesis speaker in my 2006 Toyota 4Runner without harness?

Asked by: Hoon
As long as your factory premium systems with external amp has two preouts, the LEGEND CP100 can be hooked up directly. However, mounting the LEGEND CP100 varies from vehicle to vehicle. You’ll need to purchase or fabricate a mounting bracket to secure the receiver in the dash of your vehicle. You’ll also need to purchase a vehicle-specific wiring harness, or splice the receiver’s wires directly to your vehicle’s power and signal wires.

Will there be any additional inputs on the back (i.e. HDMI or AV)? I didn't see any in the user's manual but since there's such a large delay, I figured it may not be updated.

Asked by: CrayShawn
Unfortunately, no. There would be no additional inputs added to the CP100.

Where does the USB for the Lightning/USB cable end up? Do you have to rout it through your car from the back of the device?

Asked by: jwbrobst
You can use an extension USB cable to hook it up at the back of the LEGEND CP100 and place it anywhere in the dash of your vehicle. That way, you can always plug in your iDevice without reaching the USB input at the back of the LEGEND CP100.
