Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect little speaker!! I received this as a gift over Christmas break and have been so happy with it thus far. It's very loud for its size, and even packs a little (emphasis on little) base. Doesn't take too long to charge but lasts for hours, I've actually never had it die on me. 10/10, I would recommend to anyone who asked. All I wish is that there would be an indicator as to how much battery was left, but it's not a huge deal.

Hi, The battery of JBL GO is only 3.7 volt.can i charge with my mobile charger which gives 5volt. 5 volt may damage the JBL GO? And please let me know how will i know that JBL Go is fully charged or not. Please help.

Asked by: 18saif
Yes, you may use a standard mobile charger to charge the GO since its minimum required voltage is 3.7. The GO’s light indicator turns red while charging. When it reaches full charge, the light indicator turns off.

Can i connect it with my laptop through bluetooth connection ?

Asked by: Jitender
JBL GO should connect to your laptop as long as it has the proper driver to stream audio via Bluetooth. If you are being asked by your laptop to install a specific driver, your best bet is to go into your control panel and find the Bluetooth setup. This setup usually provides a setup wizard and will take you through the steps to install the drivers needed for Stereo Audio.

My JBL Go worked perfectly, but recently it can't be seen by any devices. Even though the blue light is flashing what means it is in pairing mod, I can't find it on any devices. I tried to reset it, charge it, nothing worked

I can't remove the red light in my jbl go after charging. please help

Asked by: mica123
I assume that the GO is plugged in to a power source. It's normal when the GO gets a solid red light while charging. When it reaches full charge, the LED light turns off If this is not the case, please submit a case request at support.apac@harman.com and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

How can I use the JBL Go with Amazon Dot, it keeps turning off and won't respond, even though it is directly plugged in?

Asked by: DebraS
If the Echo Dot requires for your speaker to be constantly on, even if it does not continuously send a signal, it might not be compatible with the GO. The power saving on the GO cannot be turned off. It has auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes.

how long it takes to charge for the first time? the manual is too simple. not much info about what we need to do for the first time, whether we need to press the button or just soft touch/slide our finger. please at least provide more info.

Asked by: Norizan
The GO comes with a factory charge when brand new, but it varies. With this, there is really no direct time-frame that we can provide for an initial charge. Unlike older devices that needs a certain amount of time plugged in initially, batteries now are better and does not require this. To keep the battery healthy, it is not advisable to drain the battery before charging it, small, frequent charges are better than charging it 0-100% at a time. Battery charge time from 0-100% is 1.5 hours using the cable provided. The buttons need to be pressed on the GO.

We just bought four of these things to use as auxiliary speakers permanently plugged in with USB and a mini-jack cable for sound. Problem is, these things just turn off after some amount of time, making them all worthless. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Elroy
We are sorry to hear that the power-saving feature does not work for your needs. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be turned off or opted out from. The GO will turn automatically off if no signal is detected for 10-minutes.
