Introducing the JBL Flip portable wireless stereo speaker system. Ready to play wherever you go, it’s compact and portable, but don’t let its small size fool you. With two 1-5/8-inch (40-millimeter) drivers, a built-in bass port to produce serious bass and digital signal processing (DSP) to generate room-filling audio, it delivers full-range JBL® sound with exceptional bass. In addition, this blend of power and portability has Bluetooth® capability, so it can connect wirelessly to any Bluetooth-equipped device – which means that it is an ideal wireless speaker for smartphones and tablets. This system also offers up to 5 hours of playback time from its built-in Li-ion (lithium-ion) rechargeable battery, with an LED indicator that tells you when to recharge – and when the speaker’s in Bluetooth listening or pairing mode. Through this speaker, which includes a microphone and call-answer button, you can even answer phone calls. Hi. Is there a plug in for non-bluetooth devices?

Yes, there is an Aux port for 3.5mm Aux cable that you can use to plug in a non-Bluetooth device.

My jbl speaker light is solid blue while charger hooked up.after hours of charging I unplug and no light comes on. Whats wrong? Is there a way to see if it is fully charged?

The FLIP gets a solid blue light when it's paired to a source device. The led lights up in red when charging takes place and goes off when it reaches full charge. If it doesn't turn on when unplugged from the wall outlet, it sounds like it's not holding a charge. Try using a different charger at an alternate power source and let it charge for 3 hours. If this doesn't help, it may have developed a fault. Pease submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus for information regarding warranty options.

Good day I connect my phone to the flip it played but now when i connect there's no sound coming out

If I understood you correctly, your phone was working okay with the FLIP and now it's not. If this is the case, please perform the following: 1.Reset the FLIP by following this step: - press and hold the "Volume -" and "Power On/Off" buttons simultaneously for at least 6 seconds. The unit powers OFF by itself. Now the unit is reset. 2.Unpair/Forget the FLIP from your phone. 3.Turn the phone completely OFF. 4.Switch the phone back ON. 5.Turn the phone completely OFF "AGAIN". (this is important) 6.Switch the phone back ON. 7.Pair the FLIP with your phone.

I've upgraded my iPhone from 6plus to 7plus and it won't connect via Bluetooth. Can you help?

Make sure that the FLIP is on pairing mode. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. The power button will flash Blue/Red indicating that it is on pairing mode. Turn the Bluetooth of your device and look for the FLIP on your Bluetooth’s pairing list. If that still does not work, please reset your FLIP. In power ON mode, press and hold the "Volume -" and "Power On/Off" buttons simultaneously for at least 6 seconds. The unit powers OFF by itself. Now the unit is reset. Try to pair your device to the speaker after resetting

i have a jbl flip 1 been on charge for two days then goes flat in 5 minutes is it the battery

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the FLIP. If the unit is turning ON, there may be a problem with the charger. If you have a similar charger that you can use, please try to use it so that we can isolate the issue. I noticed that you are in Australia. Microphone doesn't work when i connect to skype business.

Please go to the setting on Skype and set the FLIP 3 as the device to use from the Microphone, Speakers, and Ringing drop-down lists. If this doesn't help, make sure you are using the latest version of Skype and you will need to ensure that the Bluetooth software and drivers on your PC are up to date. I just bought the jbl flip last week and been having trouble with the speaker, the battery just stay for 2 hours or less. What can I do with it, do you guys any suggestions that i can resolve this problem....

If you are using the speaker at full capacity, let us say 80-100% volume, and you are playing audio that has loud bass, it would most likely drain the battery faster. Try and play mellow music/slow music with the volume at 50-70% and compare battery longevity. If it is still the same, the battery is most likely behaving erratically and is draining much faster than usual.
