How do i link my speaker up to my Samsung 7 edge

Make sure that the CLIP + is in pairing mode and the Bluetooth on your Samsung 7 edge turned ON. 1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until it makes its pairing sound, there should also be a blue light indicator meaning that its ready to pair. 2. Turn ON the Bluetooth of your device. 3. Your device should be able to see the speaker on its Bluetooth pairing list and connect to it. 4. Once connected, try to play music to make sure that the unit is properly connected. If pairing is unsuccessful, please do a reset on your CLIP +. While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP + will turn off and this should reset your speaker. You may also try a different source/device. If none of these things work, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

My speaker always stops playing music after 2-3 minutes, even when connected to a power supply permanently. This has never happened before. Is there a firmware update which could solve this?

There's no firmware update to fix this problem. It is possible that what you are experiencing is due to the CLIP+’s power saving feature. It is auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 5-10 minutes. So, if you have the volume on the CLIP+ cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the CLIP+ is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the CLIP+ down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a signal to the CLIP+ and it should stay on without any issues. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at http://www.jbl.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can i use this speaker in the shower to listen to music?

It should be safe to use the CLIP + in the shower as long as it is not submerged in water. The CLIP + is rated to be splash-proof which protects it from spills, rain, or in this situation, the occasional shower.

I'm thinking of getting a jbl clip but ive been reading that the battery life dosent last long. How long can you use it before you have to charge it again?

The CLIP + supports up to 5 hours of playtime when fully charged. This would be dependent on the volume level that you are playing on, and the type of audio you are streaming. The unit also charges to full from flat for 2 hrs @ 0.5A using the included micro-USB cable.

I cannot pair my JBL Clip to my iphone 7. It is not showing up as a device on my phone. How do I get it to pair?

When the Bluetooth button on the CLIP + is pressed and held for 2-3 seconds, it enables pairing mode.

What can I do if I have a job clip but the sound quality is not good anymore

When I plug it in the charge a light doesn't come on. Does that mean it is still charging or that it might be fully charged?

When charging the CLIP+ while it’s off, the LED goes off once it’s full. Yes, it is possible that your CLIP+ is simply fully charged, reason for the LED not going on. Please try to use the CLIP+ as you normally would and let it drain its battery. Afterwards, retry to charge your unit.
