The JBL Clip 2 is an ultra-light, ultra-rugged and ultra-powerful portable speaker. Completely waterproof, the JBL Clip 2 provides 8 hours of playtime, allowing you to take your music wherever you go, be it land or water. It connects immediately to my devices and gives me quality sound! I have a teal blue and red one and they are my go-to speakers when doing yard work or taking a stroll to the mailbox! I listen to music far more than people possibly should and wouldn't do it without the help of JBL! Thanks for always making great products!!

I just purchased the jbl clip 2 and a samsung galaxy s8, but the phone does not see it when trying to pair it. I have tried the reset method as you mentioned in an earlier post. What to do?

Hi. Had a similar problem like you. Instead of holding Bluetooth button try short press. It will go to pairing mode.

I've had my Clip 2 for 2 wks. I'm trying to charge it but the charge light isn't on; does that mean it's fully charged? When powered on, Blue light slowly blinks.

As shown in the Quick Start Guide, the CLIP 2 will have a LED indicator colored red when charging and once fully charged(if the unit is switched ON) the color of the LED indicator will switch back to a solid blue light. When the CLIP 2 is charged while Off, the LED indicator would go off indicating full charge. The slow blinking blue light means its on standby.

my clip 2 wont re-pair why wont it???? its not in my phone's list every time i scan its never there. i hold the bluetooth to make it make the noise to make it go into search mode and still nothing. why is it like that? by the way my phone works fine.

I had this same problem, and it looks like Joe G at Customer Service is incorrect about the reset for this device, which is: Hold the Vol+ & Phone buttons for ~2s. The unit will power down. Turn it back on and enable pairing mode. I had to do this 3 times to get the unit to pair, but it works with all my devices now.

My Clip 2 was working fine at the first time, then I charged it without turn it off and now the blue and red LEDs are blinking alternately. No button works anymore. The audio cable also doesn't work. How can I do with it now?

Sorry to hear of this problem you are hearing. What you are experiencing is not normal. Please try to complete a reset on your CLIP 2 to attempt to fix the issue - While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Is there a trick to pairing this Clip 2 to multiple devices. I know it can connect to only one at a time. After I pair the speaker to one device, it no longer shows up on any other devices while trying to discover it via the bluetooth set ups.

The trick to pairing the second device is how you push the bluetooth button. Once the Clip 2 is paired to your first phone and you want to pair the second, just quickly tap the bluetooth button on the Clip 2. If you do a long push on the bluetooth button, the Clip 2 goes into daisychain mode. If you quickly push and release, it will go back into bluetooth pairing mode.

JBL Clip Bluetooth does not recognize my Iphone 5s? It works when connected by audio cable. JBL Clip does not even show up in Iphone when it is searching for new devices. Have never had issues with JBL products before, so this is new for me. Please Advise

Simply click the Bluetooth button a quick not hold and then search it using your iphone 5s. Try until you connect 100% working.

Can I pair the clip 2 with my charge 3? Would like the charge on a table outside and a clip (or two if possible) hanging around the garden

No you cannot pair the CLIP 2 with the CHARGE 3. The CLIP 2 does not have the JBL Connect feature. Although it has the Wireless Daisy Chain feature wherein you can connect two CLIP 2 speakers wirelessly.

Ive had my clip 2 for about a week. I bought a new phone yesterday and now my clip 2 won't pair with my new phone. It doesn't show on the Bluetooth device list. How do I fix this?

Please press and hold the Bluetooth button on the CLIP 2 for 2-3 seconds to initiate pairing mode. The LED would start blinking blue indicating that it is ready to be paired to a new device, while the CLIP 2 is on this state, check on your phone and connect to the CLIP 2 on its Bluetooth Settings. If this does not help, please do a reset on your CLIP 2. While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. If none of these things work, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.
