Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Bose I use this exclusively on the course. The bass kicks in this unit. My only complaint is I wish it had a better no-skid pads - in a golf cart this needs to be placed on a towel or it will bounce around. I've only used it for 1 round. More to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, great features Used to have Bose speaker system - this sounds just as good, amazingly. It's easy to connect and has great features like speaker phone and group use. All that at a very appealing price. What's not to like?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I tried to kill it, but it keeps rockin We abused this poor thing by dropping it repeatedly, often in pooled water and once submerged in the Gulf of Mexico. We dried it, put it in the blazing sun....and it just keeps playing! It isn't even the water resistant! I thought about giving it a sea burial so I could buy the bigger/better version. It should get

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just say'n so i would never spend this much money on a speaker, but i was gifted one, and i really like it. good sound, good battery life. i also dropped it out of a 3rd story hotel room last night on to hard black top and its totally fine. after that i would def buy one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb! I accidentally dropped it 4 ft high in a concrete... still it sounds superb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a small wonder Love this thing for many reasons, connectivy is easy and does not drop out like some other BlueTooth devices, holds plenty of power for hours and hours of play, also seems durable, mine fell and hit steel corners and it just slightly dented the front speaker screen but did not affect sound or operation and it was a hard hit ! Perfect unit for lounging in a chase lounge chair at the beach or backyard soaking up rays or when having a small indoor gathering for abeint background music. Worth every penny. Also I believe it would make a great gift.

I'm trying to connect my charge 2 to a bluetooth transmitter hooked up to my television to use as a speaker. How do I get it to connect and play sound

Asked by: fsusmith
If your Bluetooth transmitter has a user interface from which you can choose a Bluetooth device that it will connect to, then the speaker would work. If the transmitter doesn't have that interface, then the speaker would be unable to connect to that transmitter. Our portable speakers need that interface to make sure that the speaker is properly connected to the device that it is trying to pair with.

hi! how to fix my speaker jbl charge 2 it still indicates low battery even when i tried to charge it the whole day. im so worried. hope you can help. big thanks!

Asked by: vanvan
In order to ensure that the issue is caused by a defect in the CHARGE 2, try using a different USB charging cable and try alternating where you are charging the CHARGE 2 (i.e wall outlet, USB ports on laptops/computer) and let it charge for maximum of 4 hours. I noticed that you are in Philippines. If this doesn't help, please contact the store where you purchased it and they will be able to help, or at least guide you to the people that can help.

I bought the JBL Charge 2 in 2014 from radio shack and loved using it for a while, but about 3 months after using it, the unit wouldn't charge anymore. how do I fix it myself?

Asked by: RustyRusty
The CHARGE 2 is a self contained unit and is not user serviceable, which means that only authorized service centers/factory technicians can open the unit. Also, we do not recommend opening this unit up, as it is electrical and can be dangerous. However, If you want to fix it at your own risk, please google "ifixit" and you will likely find the answer there.

What mah is the battery?

Asked by: Joe0521
I also forgot to mention that speaker play time will vary due to certain reasons such as genre of music being played and volume level. So, if the CHARGE 2 is playing music with loud bass and the volume is at 100%, the battery would drain faster than when you are playing mellow or soft music and the volume is at 50%.

Volume increases automatically with Imessage from IOS device. If muted originally on IOS device, no vol increase. Volume inc one bar per msg. Flip2/other BT does not do this. Very strange. Also drops BT signal when turned on/off. How fix? TY

Asked by: Johnson Wong
You might want to try and reset the speaker, follow these steps for the reset procedures: Power ON CHARGE II then press and hold the "Volume+" and the "Phone" buttons at the same time. When the CHARGE II switches off after a few seconds, sounding the OFF prompt, it has been reset. If the volume issue still persists, please do submit a case to www.jbl.com/contacus and our customer support team would gladly assist you on this.
