JBL Charge 2 is rated 4.2114 out of 5 by 123.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Bose I use this exclusively on the course. The bass kicks in this unit. My only complaint is I wish it had a better no-skid pads - in a golf cart this needs to be placed on a towel or it will bounce around. I've only used it for 1 round. More to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound, great features Used to have Bose speaker system - this sounds just as good, amazingly. It's easy to connect and has great features like speaker phone and group use. All that at a very appealing price. What's not to like?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I tried to kill it, but it keeps rockin We abused this poor thing by dropping it repeatedly, often in pooled water and once submerged in the Gulf of Mexico. We dried it, put it in the blazing sun....and it just keeps playing! It isn't even the water resistant! I thought about giving it a sea burial so I could buy the bigger/better version. It should get

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb! I accidentally dropped it 4 ft high in a concrete... still it sounds superb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a small wonder Love this thing for many reasons, connectivy is easy and does not drop out like some other BlueTooth devices, holds plenty of power for hours and hours of play, also seems durable, mine fell and hit steel corners and it just slightly dented the front speaker screen but did not affect sound or operation and it was a hard hit ! Perfect unit for lounging in a chase lounge chair at the beach or backyard soaking up rays or when having a small indoor gathering for abeint background music. Worth every penny. Also I believe it would make a great gift.

I purchased a JBL Charge 2 from an eBay merchant and the speaker will not turn on anymore. The power light is lit, but it will not turn on. What steps do I need to take for warranty work to be done?

My JBL syncs with ipad through bluetooth but no sound comes out.????

Asked by: daraley
The CHARGE 2 when paired with a mobile device is automatically set as the speaker for that device. Try changing the volume on your mobile device and on the speaker. Try connecting the Speaker as well to that same mobile device via a 3.5mm aux cable and see if audio will be heard from the speaker. If no audio is heard from the speaker when hard wired, the speaker is then faulty. If that is the case, please submit a case to www.jbl.com/contactus and file a warranty claim for your speakers.

How do I release the wall charger plugs? They are current locked in position, folded into the power adaptor and I don't see a button or switch to allow them to drop into place. Thanks.

I had a TERRIBLE time getting the metal prongs out from the plastic casing!  I finally was able to pry them out with a tool, but I was afraid I was going to break the unit.  It required a lot of pressure to turn them out at 45 degrees.  Should not be so hard!

The power cord will not stay plugged into the port. I have tried other cords, but none stay plugged in.

Asked by: smed2124
This should not be the case with your speakers, there is a problem with the charging port. If this is a recent purhcase, please contact the dealer or retailer for a replacement. If the speaker was purchased from us or is more than 30 days old, please submit a case at http://www.jbl.com/contactus and they will be glad to assist you.

My jbl charge 2 is 2 weeks old never dropped it nor abused it but it seems to have a static noise coming out of it even when the phone isn't connected. Is that normal? But sound quality seems fine

Asked by: Rey626
If the CHARGE 2 is connected via the 3.5 aux cable and the cable is faulty or the aux output from the source is faulty you will hear some static when no audio is playing on the speakers. If the speaker is connected wirelessly there should be no static noise coming from the speaker when powered ON and not in use. If the noise is still audible even when connected via Bluetooth, please submit a case to www.jbl.com/contactus and they will assist you in processing a replacement for the speaker.

I bought the product last year and it worked perfectly up until yesterday. Now, right after having recharged the speakers, the power button is lighting up constantly. It doesn't react to any button though. Is there anything I can do?

Asked by: panders
Since the buttons of your CHARGE 2 is not responding anymore, it would be worth it to try and reset your speaker by following this step: Power ON CHARGE 2, then press and hold the "Volume+" and the "Phone" buttons at the same time. When the CHARGE 2 switches off after a few seconds, sounding the OFF prompt, it has been reset. If the reset did not work, assuming you are in the US, you can submit a case to www.jbl.com/contactus.
