E45BT is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones! These are some pretty fanstastic bluetooth headphones. The high build quality and premium feel of them is apparent from the moment you get them out of the nicely packed box. Even the charging and detachable audio cable that comes with them feel a step up from what you usually get with headphones with a nice texture and feel to the surfaces of the wires. I like that the headphone earpieces fold flat and have some movement to them and that you have the Left (L) and Right (R) indications written right in the earpieces. Can't mess that up! They are nice and soft and fit very snug on the ears and actually block out some sound. Overall I found them very comfortable and light using them over the course of an hour or two. Great to not be limited to a wired connnection location when you have the bluetooth going. The sound quality and bluetooth functionality of the E45BT are both very good in my opinion. I first listened to them with the audio cable, directly connecting them to my laptop. The sound was well balanced and very clean with a nice deep bass. They have a little less volume than another different brand set that I have, but the sound quality of these are on a whole other level. As I guess can be expected, the bluetooth connection does affect the SQ a little, but not that much. I was able to pair these with my laptop very quickly. I did have a problem with a windows phone trying to make the BT connection but I think it might be an issue with the phone itself. The buttons on the right earpiece control the bluetooth connection and include an on/off button, volume control and a button to switch between bluetooth device sources. There is also a port to connect the audio cable if you want a wired connection. If I had to make one little complaint it would be with the little instruction manual that comes with it. The fonts and instructions are written very small and I found it hard to read and had to use a magnifiying glass at times. I think the text could be bigger and perhaps the layout of the writing could be a little clearer. That said, it didn't take me too long to figure out how to use them, and they work very well with the control buttons all in one spot making it easy to operate by feel alone. To sum up, if you are looking for a very well made and very good sounding set of bluetooth headphones, I think you should definitely check these out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From experience very good for the price When I first received it right off the bat I noticed how light it was which for me I love because I like to carry my headphones everywhere I go. The sound compared to my Everest elite 700 is not as crisp but the bass really makes up for the loss of clarity in my opinion which I like because I kinda prefer a little bass in exchange for a little less sound quality especially at 150 dollars less then the Everest elite 700s I have. The battery life is very impressive which actually surprised me. I think the only thing that I didn't like was that after maybe to hours of use starts to become a little uncomfortable which is really not bad of a deal breaker but for 100 dollars it's pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dramatic improvement to E40! Impressed with the sound quality, quick and durable charging capacity and it's solid yet customized structure. I've had two pairs of E40's and the pair of E45's i've replaced them with is better on every front. Minimal design, durable mesh covering the headband and well balanced sound output, bass and treble well catered for. Thanks Thanks for the

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for the price but nothing very extraordi The headphones are very loud and doesn't have very much distortion at higher music levels. I really appreciate the lightness and comfort of the headphone and the battery life. I rarely have to charge them with moderate use and can go several days without having to do so. I'm not a big fan of the skip back to the previous track feature because you have to hold down the button for 3 seconds and makes it nearly impossible to go back when using certain music apps. The bluetooth range is very good and I love being able to have 2 devices connected to the headphones at the same time which makes it WAY easier to switch between devices. I'm a bass head and for me the bass could be better but considering the type of headphone it is reasonable. They do feel a little fragile but I don't think that I'll be breaking them anytime soon. They would be a perfect five star if they had more bass, filter out more sound, and were made of a stronger material.

Is there a microphone on the headphone unit itself? Or is the mic only on the cable attachment (i.e. only via "wired mode")?

Asked by: michaelj
You don't need wire to use mic. Bought pair of these two days ago and they are awesome. Mic is good enough for phone calls/hangouts, sound quality is satisfying, I highly recommend them :).

How i can connect E45BT to my iMac (MacOs Capitan 10.12.3)? Bluetooth don't see headphone.

Asked by: Michka
You can connect the E45BT to your iMacsimilarly to how you connect it with mobile devices. You simply need to place the E45BT in pairing mode by pressing the Bluetooth button while it is on and pair to it on your iMac. The E45BT does not require any specific drivers. It utilizes the standard Bluetooth Stereo Audio drivers available in most laptops. Your iMac must connect to the E45BT using the Stereo Audio protocol. Your best bet is to go into your control panel and find the Bluetooth setup. This setup usually provides a setup wizard and will take you through the steps to install the drivers needed.

How well do these block out sound?

Asked by: Anonymous123
The JBL E45BT gives you that more natural “open” sound and tend to allow more of the environment in since they don’t completely close off the surroundings like (closed) over-ear models.

Hello Support, after charging my device for more than 10 hours the red light at the charging port is still on. The device works fine, but the light simple does not go off. A Constant red light. What can i do?

Asked by: Felix88
Hi Felix, I would like to advise you to stop charging the battery after 3,5 hours. Then, play music wireless until the led starts blinking, indicating that the battery is about to run out, and charge the battery at that point. Again, after 3,5 hours, the battery should be fully charged, and the led is supposed to go off. If the led doesn't go off at any point while charging, please contact our Customer Support at customer.support@harman.com. so we can assist you.
