Duet BT is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like Em" Bought two with Valentine Day special. If there's a downside, it's that my hat size is 7 1/4 so these don't fit as tightly as I'd like, (had to settle down with the head banging a little). Range is pretty nice too, size 10 1/2 shoe and I get at least 35 heel to toe steps and have had as many as 50 before any dropout. Using Neutron as my music player and the sound is to me fantastic! Having only owned a cell phone for about four months now, I was excited to see what all the fuss with Bluetooth was, couldn't be happier losing cords! Have worn them for about five hours at a time and they're comfortable. For the price, this was, for me, a pretty nice purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Bad JBL :) I bought this as a birthday present and I have to say, not bad JBL. They're comfy, stylish, have good balanced sound and I like the option of either Bluetooth or wired connection. The only criticisms I have are that the sound is not that powerful, but I guess that is a little better for your ears. Also, I'm a big fan of controls on the headphone cable, including plus and minus sound buttons which this doesn't have. However I'm nit picking there. Overall, this is a nice pair of headphones. Great for the casual listener. Not bad JBL :)

The sound when I'm using bluetooth is great. However, when I try to plug the cable and use the headphone in wired mode the sound gets very bad. This only happens when using the cable. Any suggestion on what the problem could be or some suggestion to fix ?

Asked by: brunopimentac
You can try using a different audio cable to isolate if the issue is with the headphone’s audio port or the audio cable itself. If you do not have an additional audio cable, you can try to connect it to a different phone.

How do you turn on and sync the E40BT set?  It does not have an off on button, only a Bluetooth symbol on the side of the left earpiece?   Thanks

Asked by: EileenRP
On the right ear-cup of the headphones you will see a power slide-button and its indicator. If connecting it for the first time, the headphone will enter the pairing mode automatically after its powered ON. One other way to pair is by pressing the Bluetooth button and connect to Bluetooth device.

What is the correct way to put the headphones in the case? In fact, I have not been able to find a way to fit them into it.

Asked by: marik
From its original form, simply bend both ear-cups towards the headband and that will fit in the case.

hi, this is Dario, what are the dimensions of the device, an overall please, thank you !!!

Asked by: DARIO17
The overall dimensions of the DUET BT are the following: 18 cm from top of headband loop to bottom of ear pads. This is with size adjustment at minimum. The diameter of the earcup, measured across the ear pad, is approx. 6.6 cm. The width or depth of the earcup is approx. 4.2 cm, measured from outer surface to pad surface.

what is the difference between this and the E-45 BT? Also when was this headphone released, I couldn't find it on Amazon.

Asked by: Light Summoner
These two headphones are fairly similar in specifications and the differences are mainly on its build and the materials used for them. The DUET BT uses leather for its earpads and headband's cushion and comes with a carrying case that helps during travel.

Is the headband fabric as in the e45bt?

Asked by: Melios
Unfortunately, the DUET BT does not have the same comfort-fit fabric headband as the E45BT.

I have a JBL speaker, with a serial or model # CE1588. The charging prongs have bent and I can not charge the unit any more.

Asked by: Jim L
I am sorry to hear about this. The charging port of the JBL Duet BT is sensitive especially if the charger was put in the wrong way. Please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.
