I cannot get the update SW to work on my JBL Everest 700 Headphones. Get to the screen when it asks you to plug into the headphone via USB cable and then press the Long volume button and the MFB button simultaniously for 5 sec. Better instructions?

Asked by: Nascar
If you have a new EVEREST 700, it is quite possible that the update does not need to be performed. It is highly possible that you have the already updated software on your headphones. Please contact your local JBL Customer Support for technical service, thank you!

The audio quality when i use it on wireless mode is better when i use it in wired mode.Is this normal for my headsets? Thank you.

Asked by: nathan3126
Hi. Yes, this is not uncommon. The built-in amplifiers are specifically made to drive these headphones, and an external source may not be able to perform as well. That being said, you should be able to find source devices or external headphone amplifiers that do an even better job, but it may be quite expensive.

Can is use a phone wall adapter to get power from my electrical wall jack to charge my headset?

Asked by: clokster
Yes, it is completely safe to charge the EVEREST 700 using a regular phone charger. There are no adapters specifically made for this model and can be charged using any USB adapter that is rated at 5V, 0.5A or higher. Please do take note that higher output rating (1.0A - 2.0A) will significantly improve the charging time.

When plugging in to charge I read the red light stays on while it is charging but when I plug my in a power source red light goes off for about a second then turns off am I doing something wrong? I have tried plugging to outlet and computer same results.

Asked by: jersey jay
There should be a constant red light in the EVEREST 700 while charging takes place. When charging is complete, the light indicator goes dark. To isolate the issue, please try to use a similar charging cable. If you are still experiencing issues, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a carrying case for the Everest 700. You can check out third party manufacturers that specialize in this kind of accessory.

The audio on the left speaker cut out on it. what do I do????

Asked by: Haksavage
I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the EVEREST 700. There are three reasons why this might happen.      1. The device or the app might be set to play only one side, the right side. Check the equalizer settings on your phone or on the JBL MyHeadphone app.      2. If you are using the cable, the cable could have failed or may have been damaged.      3. Please try pairing the unit with a different source. You may also try performing reset on your EVEREST 700. With the headphone in OFF state, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 7 seconds. Bluetooth memory is now erased, and new pairings can be made. If you are still experiencing issues, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.
