JBL® Everest™ Elite 700 is rated 3.923076923076923 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great BT Headphone The sound is natural and balanced with a very slight mid-bass emphasis. Not booming sounding and the bass does not sound muddy at all. The highs are crisp without being fatiguing. The very lowest frequencies are attenuated but it's not noticeable with most popular music. Great soundstage for a closed headphone. Plenty of volume. Echo cancelation works well but does effect the sound quality slightly which is typical. The over-the-ear design naturally blocks a lot of noise even without echo cancelation. APTX support would have been nice. They are very comfortable. They seem sturdy but I can't really comment on the durability since I haven't had them long enough. I have many headphones and am generally unimpressed with sound of Bluetooth headphones. Not in this case. Great cans! Full disclosure: I am a Harman employee but I have not let that effect the objectivity of this review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these cans These are the best Bluetooth headphones I had yet. While at the store I tried a few different pairs of headphones and these just felt great and sounded great. They beat out the Bose and just put Beats to shame. I have had them for a few months now and have brought them with me everyday. My days are 18 plus hours long and these travel well. They fold up nice to go in my bag and paired with all my devices with no issue. I wear them for extended hours with no discomfort. The cups are soft and are holding up well. They form a great seal and the noise canceling is superb. I love them when I need to take a break from my day and just get lost for awhile in some music or a podcast. The app is really useful unlike other apps that come with headphones. If you are looking for some good Bluetooth headphones you should give them a try. I purchased mine at my local Best Buy they had them on display along with the other Everest models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Headphones I got these in november and I love them! They sound great and the noise cancellation is superb! For all of those you can't read instructions, you turn on Bluetooth sync by holding the on button from off past on until a voice comes on and says it's descoverable!! Once you know how to do it it works really well and I like it much more than my old beats mixr!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect - only two issues I bought this pair of headphones 3 months ago, works perfectly well and the audio is pretty good (as long as your files are high quality as well), the sound cancelling features work and the connectivity just works without a hassle. The first issue I'm facing while using these headphones alongside my laptop (only device that this happens in) there happens to be some sort of interference that causes my WiFi connection to slow down on the laptop only when I'm connected to the headphones. Example: Without headphones 10mbps, with headphones 1mbps or even less. This is the only issue I'm currently facing. This makes it really hard for me to listen to music while attempting to do research or even watching videos. Is there any workaround? Second issue: After using it for a while, the headband kind of hurts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones! I bought these headphones after comparing them to the Beats bluetooth headphones which were far more expensive. I thought that the sounds from the JBL's was at least as good and the noise canceling feature is very good as well. One item of minor annoyance is that you have to have some sort of sound streaming in order for the noise canceling feature to remain turned on. This is slightly aggravating while on an airliner, but I simply turn on a white-noise app and reduce the volume way down and it works like a champ. It's an easy work-around, but hopefully JBL will fix that feature in the future. Overall, these are incredible from a sound, comfort and quality perspective, and I would buy them again over the next best option.

can i pair the jbl elite 700 with a mac pro

Asked by: donnal
As long as your Mac Pro is capable of streaming audio via Bluetooth and its Bluetooth driver supports A2DP Audio codec, the EVEREST ELITE 700 will work without any issue.

Bought them for my S7 Edge. They lag alot when using bluetooth. Tried them with my old iPhone and they work perfect. How do i fix them so they work with my galaxy?

Asked by: Steini
The EVEREST ELITE 700 is compatible to both Android and Apple Devices. However for any issues connecting Please try the following. Open Settings > Applications > Application manager, tap More and then select Show system apps. Now if you scroll down you should see an application called Bluetooth Share. Tap it to open. Forcing Bluetooth Sharing to stop as well as clearing the cache and data should resolve any audio delays using Bluetooth connection.

Both the Red and White LED are on fully on the right side. None of the functions seem to be working, there is no sound from the headset. Can you guide me with how to reset?

Asked by: Fuzzy_JBL
THE EVEREST ELITE 700 permits pairing with one source device at at a time. Normally, if the LED blinks red/blue, this means that the EVEREST ELITE 700 is in pairing mode. THE EVEREST ELITE 700 permits pairing with one source device at at a time. Normally, if the LED blinks red/blue, this means that the EVEREST ELITE 700 is in pairing mode. If the last source is not detected, for example, maybe because you want to use another source device, switch the ELITE off and on again, and make sure that the last source device you used is no longer switched ON. This way the ELITE will not be able to "see" the old source, and it will search for a new one. Now the ELITE will again search for the last paired source, and since it cannot find it after some seconds, it will switch back to be open for pairing with a new source. To reset the EVEREST ELITE 700 to pair with another Bluetooth source, with the headphone in OFF state, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 16 seconds. Bluetooth memory is now erased, and new pairings can be made. I noticed that you are in Dubai. If this doesn't help, please contact the store where you purchased it and they will be able to help, or at least guide you to the people that can help.

Is there an indicator when it is in charging mode. My hp does not flash a light when charging. Even after charging it for over 3 hours, the app indicates that it is it's not over 30%. After powering on, the unit powers off after a few seconds.

Asked by: SDatta
There is a constant red light in the LED of the EVEREST ELITE 700 while charging takes place. When charging is complete, the diode goes dark. In order to ensure that the issue is caused by a defect in the EVEREST ELITE 700, try using a different USB charging cable and try alternating where you are charging it (i.e wall outlet, USB ports on laptops/computer) and let it charge. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can this headphone pair with Apple TV 4th generation wirelessly?

Asked by: Motioncreator
The EVEREST ELITE 700 has a bluetooth version of 4.0, so technically any bluetooth enabled devices that have a version of 4.0 and below can be connected to the headphones.

Hi, I wanted these headphones to turn them on today but that did not work. Then I unsuccesfully tried to charge them, since it showed no red light. Now I can only listen music with an audio cable attached. How can I solve this? Perhaps is the battery dead?

Asked by: Roosvicee
I am facing exactly the same problem as well.  It does not flash a charging indicator light even if connected over 3 hours. It is so frustrating.
