JBL® Everest™ Elite 700 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality for the audiophile All the features you want and would expect from a high end over eat headphones. The ANC is good especially for not have an external power box. The ambient awareness is very helpful when you only partially want to shut out the world. The customizable EQ and TrueNote technology are my favorite. That customization is what the audiophiles need and into really enhances the audio experience. PS I'm not normally over ear headphone fan, but this is the first pair I've really enjoyed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I bought the white model, and i have to say, that these Headphones are just great. Beforehand i want to apologise if my english is bad, and also for the length of this review, i tried to shorten it as good as possible. First the positive points and then the negative point(s): -In my opinion, they look very nice, are cheaper than models from other companies and still they deliver a great sound. -The ANC (active-noise-cancelling) is not the best i´ve had experienced yet, but they do their job more than well enough, the biggest difference you get to feel is in the bus and train, i haven´t experienced them out yet in a plane, in a few weeks i will have a 15h-flight, lets see if there the phones will be able to make me happy. -The soundquality is so good, I have to be honest, this was until now the best soundquality i´ve experienced in bluetooth headphones. -The comfort is pretty high, specially around the ears. They almost feel like pillows (in my opinion), they do feel pretty stable and not so easy to get destroyed. -I do also loved the idea of that own headphone-app with equalizer and everything, for people who use Apple-products its good cause iPhones and iPods do not have a custom equalizer (which is also one of the reasons why i changed to sony) but i dont want to make any namedropping here. Fact is, that app is really cool and good for personal desires. Also, you are NOT forced to download this app, thats also very good. -Also a little good point is the poutch (mini-bag) for the headphones to transport them in your bags, it looks cool and is partly helpful Now to the "negative" points: -The cushion for the head after 2-3 hours hurts a bit if the headphones always stay at the same spot on the head, i need to move them around a bit so it doesnt hurt that much, so that problem can be fixed by yourself, i do think that comes from the weight of the headphones, not so sure... -Another more or less negative point is, that the ear-pads do get wrinkled (im not so sure if thats the right word for describing it) easily when you fold the headphones, because the get pressed hard together, when in that poutch they deliver with the phones. All-in-all, its a very good choice to buy these headphones (in my opinion) cause they are really worth the price. They are able to compete with headphones from other companies that cost 350+ Euros/Dollars, cause you really got everything you need there

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pair of headphones for the price Bought these about two months ago and I am pretty satisfied with them. I love the noise cancelling features and Ambient Aware feature (campus walker). Battery life is solid and the EQ customization is excellent. I think the noise cancelling could use a bit of work or an upgrade (doesn't block out everything, can still hear some people talking..they may just be loud) and the paint is coming off on the edges, but that's about it.

On power on, do these headphones automatically re-connect to a Windows/Mac PC that they have previously been paired with ? The pair I own does not do that. Any suggestions? Latest drivers installed on Windows-7..

Asked by: JLKi
As far as initiating a call for the EVEREST ELITE 700, you actually have to physically hold the home button on your phone to activate Siri and then you can talk through the headphones and she will comply.

I've got a charging question as well. Cords were lost in a move, headphones are dead. Red light flashed once and went dark when I tried to charge. Now the light won't turn on no matter what, it feels like the headphones went dead. How do I charge now?

Hi, I've been trying to connect my Elite 700 to the computer with Windows 10, the Bluethoot is able to connect but it fails to finalize, driver not detected. Do you know where I can find it? Thank you!

Asked by: Alf_
It is possible that your computer simply does not have the necessary/updated drivers to stream audio via Bluetooth. The EVEREST ELITE 700 does not require any specific drivers. It utilizes the standard Bluetooth Stereo Audio drivers available in most computers. There are two different Bluetooth protocols, one for Headset Audio used for talking on the telephone, and the other for high quality stereo audio listening. Being that the EVEREST ELITE 700 is a headphone; your computer must connect to the EVEREST ELITE 700 using the headphones protocol. Your best bet is to go into your control panel and find the Bluetooth setup. This setup usually provides a setup wizard and will take you through the steps to install the drivers needed for Bluetooth headphones audio.
