Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones! I bought these headphones after comparing them to the Beats bluetooth headphones which were far more expensive. I thought that the sounds from the JBL's was at least as good and the noise canceling feature is very good as well. One item of minor annoyance is that you have to have some sort of sound streaming in order for the noise canceling feature to remain turned on. This is slightly aggravating while on an airliner, but I simply turn on a white-noise app and reduce the volume way down and it works like a champ. It's an easy work-around, but hopefully JBL will fix that feature in the future. Overall, these are incredible from a sound, comfort and quality perspective, and I would buy them again over the next best option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple amazing!! Bought these over both the bose and beats wireless. The sound, comfort, ease of use, and feel are one of a kind. I listen to everything from country to rock all the way to EDM. Nothing has made my music sound better. The battery life is amazing. I've been told that the microphone sounds amazing while on calls. I would highly recommend these if you can afford the 300 price tag.

When I'm walking in my yard paired with my iPhone at times my elite 700 just pause or go to another song, why?

Asked by: Nickkin
Reception of Bluetooth can be heavily influenced by surrounding environment. If your product offers stable streaming performance when phone and bluetooth device are in the same room, with no large objects blocking the line of sight, then your product is performing as specified. If you are experiencing issues with the controls outside, there may be interferences contributing to it. Metal swing sets or slides, metal sheds, trees, etc can all attribute to bluetooth connectivity issues. Please note that bluetooth cannot pass through your body. For best performance, have you device located on the left side of your body.

How can I pair my iPad and iPhone 6+?

Asked by: Nickkin
The power button is located on the back of the right ear cup on the top. It helps to have the headphones on in order to hear the audible voice stating, "powering on" continue to hold down the power button until the audible voice states, "JBL Everest is ready to pair" Make sure your device is bluetooth ready and in search mode and it should recognize the headphones within a few seconds. If you experience any pairing issues, please contact your local JBL Customer Service for technical support.

Is there a mute button? and how is the mic? im planning to use them for pc and ps4 gaming and wonder if it will work?

Asked by: serene
Unfortunately, there is no mute button on the Everest models. The Everest product uses standard Bluetooth protocol for audio communication. Gaming headphones usually use a different frequency and protocol for audio communication so it is unlikely that they will work with your PS4 gaming system.

Yes. I just got these headphones about two months ago, and I take them out of the case today, and there is just a constant white light. No noise coming out of the headphones, I can't turn them off, I dont know if it is on. Nothing is working.

Will these headphones work or can they work to communicate on Ham radios like the Yaesu VX-7R  with the cord or by bluetooth  some how

Asked by: Rick B
Our device can be a remote mic or a listening headphone. But they are not equipped to actually communicate through the headphones to your Ham radio.
