Hi I have just run the firmware update on my app on my phone and it tells me to wait for the headphones to restart but they have not. I have the Everest Elite 300 and am using an iPhone 6SPlus.

Asked by: MagintyGirl
If the EVEREST ELITE 300 has become completely unresponsive, leave the headphone alone for some hours. Could be overnight. This should deplete the battery, since the frozen headphone is actually still active internally, using up current fast. When the battery has run completely empty, the headphone can be connected to the power outlet and will begin charging, and the upgrade can be re-started. It is unlikely that it fails a second time. I noticed that you are in New Zealand. If this doesn't help, please contact your local JBL support for information regarding your warranty options, thank you!

The Everest Series headphones are not designed to withstand sweat and rigorous workouts. Overexposure to sweat and heat can cause damage audio damage to the headphones. We recommend going to JBL.com to check out our JBL Reflect and Inspire product line. These headphones are specifically designed for cardiovascular workouts and are sweat resistant.

I was using my JBL® Everest™ Elite 300; working fine; when I went to power down, nothing happened I've tried to charge, no charging lite Any ideas?

Asked by: lesatdgl
What you are experiencing is not normal. There should be a constant red light in the LED of the EVEREST ELITE 300 while charging takes place. However, if the unit does not react on any button presses nor getting charged, what you can do is let the battery drained completely, and then fully charge the unit. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.
